Publication dreams
I dreamed last night that I got a very long letter from Mirrorstone. After wading through 10 or so pages of critique of my proposal, the last paragraph stated, basically, "Thanks but no thanks." Then I found more letters. Somehow they'd sent all the letters to all the writers to me. I read many long letters, only to find how they raved about the other writers' proposals and were offering them a book. I must have read 20 of them. Then I woke up and had to remind myself that they're still making decisions.
I hate publication dreams. When you get the ones where you're rejected, you wake up all depressed. When you get the ones where you're published, you wake up and realize it wasn't real and THEN you get depressed. :(
