I can't believe it's already Sunday night.  Time seems to be flying between now and Christmas--it's only 18 days away!

Last week was pretty good-- work is going OK.  I'm sure that as I get more proficient at what I'm going I'll start to enjoy it more.  I have good days and bad days--mostly I just look forward to 5:00 every day.

Jason is in town for awhile to help Kay with some catering.  A bunch of us went to the UAB-South Florida basketball game last Wednesday to cheer on UAB in their home opener for the season.  A strange series of cooincidences happened-- first, we were there with JB and Mo, who came from Atlanta to see the game.  They are Cleveland Browns fans.  Then, they ran into some friends of theirs at Bartow who are ALSO Browns fans/Browns Backers.  THEN, during the first part of the basketball game, the guy came up to where we were sitting and started pointing and whispering to JB and Jason about someone there-- turns out Brady Quinn, the Browns' injured QB, was in town last week for surgery on his broken finger with Dr. Andrews and had come to the game to see UAB play that night.  I , of course, got to snapping some pictures of him from across the arena.  When he was leaving I did go over and say "Hi" but he declined my request for a photo of him.  That's fine-- he probably wasn't feeling so hot after surgery and wanted to get out of there.  Besides, I'm a Peyton fan ;)

AND speaking of football, the Tennessee Titans are the AFC South champs this year, knocking the Colts out of that spot for the first time in 5 years.  Congrats Titans!

I went to do some Christmas shopping today and came home with...socks.  And the socks?  Are for me to wear to work.  Not a successful outing.  I have no idea what I'm going to be getting for my Mom-- Brian is the only person I've shopped for.  I have gotten one thing for Mom so far and miles to go before I sleep.

The bowl game matchups have been posted and Florida will play for the National Championship this year.  I'm glad the SEC is represented again.  Also, Vanderbilt is going to the MUSIC CITY BOWL.  In Nashville.  Where they already ARE.  That's like going to the prom with your sister.

Laura, Landon, Dad, Ellen and I all ate together tonight-- I made corn and rice casserole which was a big hit AND I have some leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Work tomorrow, rehearsal with BCC tomorrow night....Mondays are such long days.  Hope everyone had a great weekend and PLEASE check out bachelorgirl.net if you haven't already-- it's Kelly's baby and we are all SO proud of her!
