Monday? Now?
Well...weekend was pretty quiet. Friday night, I laid down on the couch and started watching What Not to Wear. The next thing I knew, it was 5 AM Saturday. I guess I was tired :)
Saturday night Graham and I had "date night". We had gift certificates from a crappy experience at a restaurant so we decided to use them at a different location of the same place. Our movie started at 8:30 and we already had our tickets, so we thought an hour and a half to eat and get down the street to the theatre would not be a problem. WELL...we had an appetizer and had ordered our meals-- we both got steak. I *NEVER* order steak, but I thought I'd splurge since we weren't paying for it. Mine was supposed to be medium well and his was medium rare. It took awhile for our food to come out and I just figured it was because my steak had to cook awhile. They brought our food out and I cut into my steak-- it was oh so rare. I think I heard it moo when I cut into it. We didn't have time for them to cook anything else so instead of a steak I got a salad. Woo. I think that's all I'm doing with Ruby Tuesday. We saw "Zodiac" which was really good. I love all the true-crime, forensic-file, cold case stories. The one thing-- everyone in the movie was dressed in period-style-- late 60's, early 70's-- but Jake Gyllenhaal looked like he just walked in off the street. His hair and wardrobe would not look at all out of place now. And his wife looked like Jan Brady as an adult.
Yesterday, I didn't do much of anything...went to Wal-Mart yesterday evening to get some food for the week. Somehow I ended up with a can of Magic Sizing. I don't iron, so I guess I'll take that back. I'll bet the guy that was in front of me was wondering what happened to his stuff.
It is so warm here today-- it's supposed to be almost 80*. Almost everyone here is wearing sandals.
