Down at the Twist and Shout

So, yesterday, all day I'm thinking..."I'm SO tired...I can't WAIT until the wedding reception's over so I can go home and crash..."

And then, someone mentioned karaoke.  And suddenly, I was awake!

The reception, to quote the great Jason, was "cake".  Disposables, cool crowd, we were out of there in no time-- the guests chowed down on the food so fast that we were able to clean as we went and pack the van all night long so it wasn't left until the end.  I came home, changed clothes, and headed to STARZ!, formerly known as Rumours on Valley.

It ended up being Jason, Nicola, me and Mo...and a million other American Idol wannabes.  I did my one song-- "Let 'er Rip" to much applause.  Jason did some LL Cool J, Nicola did Michelle Branch and Mo drank several Cape Cods, but not enough to get her up there.  I rolled home around 1 and crashed like I have never crashed before.

Oh, and B. called to check in with me last night and left a message during the reception and I talked to him again last night before bed.

Boy apparently went to Nashville yesterday and is on his way home today-- I told him to wave in the general direction of Hermitage ;)

Anyway, I'm going to eat something and hit the Y.

Later.

fun, friends, music, karaoke
