Friday I'm (not really) In Love...
Today, conveniently, is my day off from work. So, I have finished a book and am playing on the internet...What a wild life I lead.
Tonight is, of course, the BIG GATHERING FOR THE UAB vs. KY (hee hee-- "KY") BASKETBALL GAME. I'm excited-- although I really need to figure out something to bring. It's a post-dinner gathering, as the game doesn't start until 8:45. The hosts are providing chips, salsa and Rotel dip. I'll need to staple my mouth shut to stay on points for the day.
Oh yeah-- I officially have returned to Weight Watchers, so prepare for various ups and downs on Wednesdays from now on, as that is my weigh-in day. My scale at home is apparently one pound off from theirs, so I can at least know what I'm in for. Any helpful hints as to how to down 5 fruits and veggies a day for someone who doesn't really LIKE fruits and veggies are more than welcome.
So, I have a bruise on my left shin that's been there, literally, since last May. I jumped off a chair when I was doing something at work and hit the back of it on the way down, so it was a really bad one. But still-- it's MARCH. I'm a bit concerned, but I don't really know what to do about it. I call my doctor about once a week with stupid questions so I don't want to bug him with this one. I'm pretty sure I don't have leukemia or anything-- my appetite surely hasn't suffered...maybe they can just poke it and let the blood go away.
Oh well...off to do something non-productive. Daytime TV should keep me occupied for awhile. Maybe Forensic Files, Cold Case Files or City Confidencial is on. :)
