This bit was just as cute and wish-fulfilling as the previous... it seemed a bit rushed. But, really, maybe it was just me. I read it awfully fast!

No, I think it's the length, and the fact that a lot of it is dialogue - those factors make it a quick read, so it does seem a little rushed, even though I don't think the pacing is much different from previous chapters.
