In an octopus's garden
Snapshot of conversation between Katie and I upon learning of the psychic World Cup result-predicting octopus (subtitled: "Why amidala_thrace and canceron_jedi should not be allowed on the internet together after dark"):
Liz: They should get that octopus on TSN to replace Maggie the monkey. I miss her. :(
Katie: Me too. :( If he did well enough I wonder if they'd make him a member of the panel?
Liz: Probably, since he's ~psychic~. He'd do better than the human commentators!
Katie: And since the TSN hockey panel is essentially a staging ground for the commentators to get hired as coaches, he'd probably be hired as an NHL coach next!
Liz: For the DETROIT RED WINGS! OMG, can you imagine if they hired an octopus? Duuuuuuuude, the symbolism!
Katie: 'TWOULD BE EPIC.
Liz: MIKE BABCOCK BETTER WATCH HIS BACK.

Not to malign NHL commentators too unduly, as there are many who are extremely good at their jobs. :) BUT STILL. ;)
