Not a year in review.

So apparently the thing to do at the end of the year is to post an entry with all the fic you've written. I'm not going to do that, mostly because it would take me the better part of a year to actually find all the links. Instead, I'm going to lay out the plan for what will be posted during 2012. I'm trying to do that thing where I finally one day actually finish all the things I want to finish, and then move onto a different pasture, which is easier said than done. But anyway. In order of word count (and ignoring the tiny things that will probably get deleted), we have the yet to be posted:

Close My Eyes (14,113 words). In which Emily is injured in a car accident, and Rossi helps her recover. Promised to microgirl8225 forever ago, and if I buckle down and spend a good few days on, I can probably get it done.

Countdown to Armageddon (10,072 words). An old CIA colleague of Emily's shows up and asks for her assistance in a delicate matter. Co-written with windycitydream. We've been working on this one so long I think it's starting to get grey hairs.

Father's Joy (7,895 words). In which Emily volunteers to carry a Morgan/Reid baby, and things do not go entirely as planned. OT3, written based on a prompt from the sixth (?) kink meme.  Had a few days of rapid-fire writing before it burned out.

Untitled Mass Effect fusion (3,131 words). Derek Morgan, Spectre, accidentally screws up an Alliance undercover mission. Born out of an intense nerdery, and will probably be way too esoteric for anyone to actually read. Still gonna write it.

Apocalypse, Please (2,414 words). Next part in the Supernatural crossover 'verse, Demon Days. More shenanigans occur.

Quidditch Season (2017 words). Sequel to The Vanguard, Harry Potter fusion. The team are students at Hogwarts and they play a lot of Quidditch.

Where Did You Sleep Last Night (1,873 words). Sequel to Shiver the Whole Night Through. A DID-suffering Reid has been institutionalized, and his recovery becomes more important than ever when a member of the team disappears.

Past Imperfect (1,711 words). Leverage crossover. In which Emily crossed paths with Eliot Spencer during her CIA days.

We'll Always Have Paris (1,704). In which Emily's mental and emotional state takes a dark spiral post-Lauren. Alcohol, PTSD and loneliness do not mix well.

The Chair (1,649 words). Morgan/Prentiss smut-fest. That's pretty much it.

Symmetry (1,602 words). Rizzoli & Isles crossover. Setting up two nerds.

Captain Quantico (1,547). Reid fails his physical, before developing a super-soldier serum. Super-crack.

Dark Side of the Moon (1,482). Reid taught at Caltech instead of joining the FBI. Years later, when he actually does join, Morgan is more than a little intrigued. Another old one.

Not listed: A whole lot of stuff that has ~1000 words, but lacks plotting, as well as anything that I'm writing for charity bids (which I really am still working on.) Also not listed: Anything in my Backburner folder, which has a lot of stuff that will probably never be finished. I should probably put them up for adoption or something. As for stories that are already posted and in progress, updates will come eventually. I know there are more than a few that have less than five chapters left.

Tell me what you want to read.

writing, works in progress
