Oaxaca Journal - Oliver Sacks
I've read a couple of Sacks's neurology books, which are quite fascinating, so it was very interesting to see his take on a travel journal. Travel journal doesn't really quite explain it properly, though - it was a bit of a mix of travel, history and science, and though the trip itself was looking mostly at ferns, it also gives an interesting look at other facets of Mexican culture. In the end, my only problem was that it was way too short. It has also given me the travel bug, which has the potential to be super-expensive. Gonna try and find some more books on similar subjects, maybe with a bit more focus on Ethnobotany.
