You're inflating the ego a little bit too much here, but I'm very glad that you like it so far. The brain went into overdrive on plotting, and I get the feeling that if I work this the right way, it can be the first story in a longer series. Maybe. My muse is a little overambitious at times.

I think it will be a case of something like "Screw this, I don't really have much left here in DC. I'm coming with you." If all turns out the way it's supposed to.

Very cool!

As an fyi for this story, the main (congested) highway in DC is called the Beltway (495) and it kind of does a loop around the city- so no really inner-city highway (though the city traffic is bumper-to-bumper on local streets all the same).

That said, such a cool start! I'm very curious as to what happened to the BAU crew. Whatever it is, I'm sure I'm going to be said. Poor Rossi, he was kind of a jerk when he started but I like him. Sad he's gone...

Can't wait to see where this goes next!

All I remember is that it took almost two hours to get from the airport to our hotel :(. Thanks for the clarification, though.

Oh wow! I really, honestly love this. I know it's just an excerpt but I've wanted to write a CM/SPN crossover (haven't watched enough SPN though), so I think this is going to become my newest favourite story. And all that's just from the excerpt.

It already sounds angsty and then adding Dean-angst and Emily-angst together...wow, explosive combo I think. As for the rest of the team? I have a feeling they've died...well Hotch, Rossi and Reid anyway, which will make things interesting. Loving the idea of this turnig into a series! ;)
