well
this has been the most boring week of my life
i will now proceed to share the boringness with you haha
wednesday (last wednesday-hence the week thing hahah) ~ didnt feel too well. didnt think too much of it though, took a nap and went to starbucks with elise. didnt feel good. jeremy, roe, and boyd came. nice to see them all. went home early.
thursday ~ really didnt feel good. im talking, i couldnt even stand up to take a shower, i had to sit down halfway through haha. took some advil and such and sucked it up. i had to take my mom to the hospital for some procedures and i had to be the 'responsible adult' person to drive and stuff. SIX HOURS LATER i return. fell asleep at 7:30 pm. was awoken at 10 pm. because my father wanted pizza for dinner and figured that i would go get it for him. i did. because you don't argue with my father, no matter how annoyed you are and how much the world spins while you are driving. haha.
friday ~ slept. watched tv. slept.
saturday ~ went to medexpress. was diagnosed with strep. got medicine. took medicine. slept. watched tv. slept.
sunday ~ woke up with rash. went back to medexpress. was given a variety of reasons. settled on diagnosis as scarlet fever with my strep. got new medications. came home. slept. watched tv. slept (noticing a trend here?)
monday ~ felt a bit better. did some stuff around the house. storm. lost power.
tuesday ~ felt MUCH better. no power. ran errands.
wednesday ~ all better. ran more errands. power returned at 6 pm
i have felt so cut off from the world... maybe not the world, but people.
i have not seen any of my friends for a week. and it is killing me. i haven't seen nathan since last monday. and cassie since the thursday before that.
i can't handle it any longer. but i have too i guess. hopefully i will finally see people tomorrow. since nothing has worked out so far.
and now i will leave you with some insight into lessons i have learned over the past few days:
1. if you are lighting candles with a birthday candle, as in place of a match, do not shake the candle to get the flame out. it puts the flame out, yes, but in turn shakes hot wax all over you.
2. don't let your brother take one of your pretty candles. he will trip and spill the wax all over the floor and himself.
3. generators are amazing.
4. if you are driving and a helicopter is trying to take off, stop. i don't know if you are supposed to, but everyone else will and then they look at you funny when you keep driving.
5. reading outside is fun.
6. fevers are tricky little buggers. they know when you are going to the doctor and go down until you get back home, then they attack again.
7. this is the most important lesson of all. it is so important, it deserves a space all to itself.
if you are angry with your brother, do not go to your room and throw your phone at the floor to take out your frustration. you will pay later. and i mean pay. as in tomorrow i have to go buy a new phone :-(
all in all, i am happy to once again be healthy and with electricity in my domestic residency.
and i miss people. a lot.
