KELLYMARIE COMES TO TOWN!!
So Thursday night I drove to New Orleans to pick up KellyMarie from the airport. I was hoping to bring her to Cane's immediately, but the stupid Cane's in Metairie was apparently not open past 11pm. So instead we went to Jigger's, a neighborhood bar of sorts, and got bar food. Then we drove back to baton rouge and got home around 2am and were so tired. We had grandiose plans of waking up early, but instead we slept til 10 and we both needed it.
So our weekend of caloric extravagance started with a late lunch at Tsunami...
The amazing Ika fries (calamari) and their phenomenal spicy mayo dipping sauce
Big Tuna, Sea Bass roll, Ragin Cajun, Lava Roll, sweet shrimp
My own special Sea Bass roll. I'd asked for no cucumber, but the first one they brought had cucumber...so they made us another. with hearts!
On that note, just looking at these pictures makes me want to go back. Right now.
We stood out on the terrace, for easily an hour...
just talking and taking pictures....
and looking at the sun over the mississippi, it changes a lot in the course of an hour
After awhile we started hearing the music from Live after Five, so we headed downstairs to check that out
I love how the sky changed while we were there. The show is backdropped by the old state capitol
The lights made me want to decorate (even more) for Christmas
Then we called up Devon to see if he wanted to go out, and he did, but he is car-less, so we picked him up and headed to Red Star...
where we saw this women with SILVER pants.

KellyMarie picked out some tunes on the jukebox...
while Devon used my camera to take zoomed pictures of her boobs
There was some fun art on the walls, and KM would have bought some if it wasn't so expensive
Then I took KM to THE GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH
and once again I ate it all before I got a picture of it
Devon wonders who is going to have sex with him tonight...the answer is "no one".
But that does not deter him.
