OH HAI

Realization: I have not kept you updated on my life. Livejournal FAIL. Luckily no one's life depends on knowing about my life. That's called a real life WIN.

Last week I went to my first White Sox game. And my second White Sox game. The first time was not planned, but it was free and came with a parking pass and tickets into the Stadium Club (restaurant and bar area with windows over the field). It also included 2nd row seats.

They even had after-game fireworks.

Game 2 was planned, and it was a Tweetup event that KellyMarie signed up for that allowed us into the stadium before the game to witness White Sox batting practice. It also ended up a little chilly, and I got to have hot chocolate! Twice!

Then on Friday, Victoria and Kristian arrived! We got tickets to a burlesque show that was Big Lebowski themed. Oh yeah, you read that right. It was burlesque performances sandwiched between Lebowski skits. It was...odd. But entertaining. Then we sent Kristian off to meet up with her friend Mary Kate and we sat on the roof deck and drank wine and caught up.

Best friend activities continued on Saturday with some Navy Pier. The weather wasn't great, but at least it never actually rained on us.

Funhouse mirrors!

For your safety...

Also a little Millennium Park.

Then we went shopping, because that's what we do best. Purchases were made at Macy's, Forever 21, TJ Maxx, Urban Outfitters, New York & Co, and Nordstrom Rack. Woot. Then we got home and fixed ourselves up a little to meet potatohead! It was her birthday, so we met up with her and her friends at a bar for the pre-party. Then they went off to karaoke (which, from the pictures, looks like it was a pretty fun time). We found our way into a gay bar near my place. We knew it was a gay bar because we're smart, but the people next to us knew it was a gay bar "because the music is so intense". Okaaaay.

They had pretty lights (which I saw at IKEA today)
