Eat, Drink, and be Mary

KellyMarie came to visit again, since some of her family was going to be in New Orleans.

First stop, Port of Call. Usually the line is out the door, but it was lunchtime, so the line was just in the door.

I hadn't been since before Katrina, so I've literally been craving it for years. Their signature drink is the Monsoon. You're only allowed two.

Limited menu, it's mainly burgers and baked potatoes. But it's very good burgers and baked potatoes.

Deanie's, the Crawfish Quartet: fried crawfish tails, crawfish etouffee, crawfish dressing balls, and crawfish au gratin (I want a crawfish/crabmeat au gratin dispenser in my kitchen. That stuff is ungodly good).

Brennan's breakfast
Crabmeat omelet with hollandaise...there was seriously more crab than egg in there.

We like theatrics

Crepes Fitzgerald

Bananas foster

Parkway Tavern for lunch...shrimp and catfish poboy

She's a fan

Then out to Freret Market, to buy awesome PoBoy Apparel shirts.

I love that they wrap them and bag them like they're actual poboys (even have free chips!)

Dinner was at Herbsaint, I'll post those next.
