Mall FTW
I went to Express. The trip should have cost me $140+tax, but instead I paid a total of $43.94. I really am too good at this.
I bought another one of these shirts, this time in a teal-ish color. This makes 6. One for every day but Sunday. Sunday can be naked day.
And two pairs of jeans, one "barely boot cut" and one "boot cut".
Not sure I look quite as slim in them as this likely 5'10", 100 lb model.
But new jeans were a must because I only had one pair so far in a size 6.
The shirt was originally $40, but "select styles" were $19.50, so I selected a "select style". The jeans were $50 each, but there was a deal on denim where you buy one pair and get the second half off. So I'm already saving about $50...but wait! There's more!
I had one of those little discount cards they send you in the mail, for 25% off a purchase of $75 or more. So bye bye another another $24!
AND THAT'S NOT ALL FOLKS! I had ANOTHER discount card, to take off $30, which they apparently sent me because I'd earned enough points on my Express card. So that's how I ended up only spending $43.94.
And what I love about the Express discount cards is that on the back of them they say things like "not applicable on clearance merchandise" and "cannot be combined with any other offer/discount" yet all I ever buy is clearance merchandise or discounted BOGO items, and I use those discount cards every time, without fail.
So. That one hour of my day was worth highlighting. The end.
