Two books in a row relating to death in some way, though they are both well written, has made me pensive. This, in turn, makes the day funky as I'm walking around painfully aware of my mortality. I think after I finish this book, instead of reading my book on the civil war, I think I'll find something that is lighter.

Hee hee I had to take a break from Anita Blake because I devoured those books one after another up to Obsedian Butterfly. That series is the literary equivalent of McDonald's french fries:-)
