2004 Poetry - Ever More

Sep 19, 2007 18:05

What have I ever done to you before?
I thought this was what you wanted for him.
Now you are pushing me out of the door,
And both of our attitudes appear dim.

In your eyes I'm nothing but a nuisance,
And I suppose that's all I'll ever be.
But to him I'm his lover and influence,
So I doubt you'll ever get rid of me.

Hopefully, you will figure something out;
No matter how much I will feel hated.
Many times you have made me cry and shout,
And I still feel unloved and degraded.

I want to stay with the one I adore.
But I can't stand his parents anymore.
