trip to brisbane!
brisbane was the same temperature as adelaide and raining. raining! so sad.
anyway... got up at 5:30, got ready, got taxi to airport, sat waiting for my plane while revising groundwater flow equations (was subsequently watched by about 10 people until the lady next to me asked, 'what are you doing?'), flew to brisbane, realised on the plane i'd forgotten to bring maths homework, felt sick on the plane due to being too tired, got to brisbane, got a taxi to the city, walked to the mall, went to miss shop (better in adelaide, couldn't believe it!), got some lunch, went to my interview.
it went really well. yay.
finished interview, got in taxi, went to airport, waited at airport, tried to find maccas for traditional airport maccas run, but no maccas! plane was delayed... rained in... blek! waited waited waited... talked on the phone... finally got going... felt sick all of the way home... back in adelaide, taxi back to house, 12 hours later, grocery shopping, then emma made dinner and i watched csi and went to bed at 9:30, oh yes!
i can't believe how tiring travelling was. of my 12 hours of day yesterday, i spent 1 hour 15 minutes of it off. at least the interview went well!
if i get it, i will have a new second home for 3 months of the year. yay! if i don't, i can move to melbourne! yay! so either option is good by me... actually i really do want to live in melbourne for a while... will wait and see what happens!
