Things at Home: 3 humans, 4 cats, all is well. We had our excitement in the beginning of the month when our fridge died. It was nearly 30 years old, so it was past time, but still annoying to find a fridge that (a) fit under our built-in cabinets and (b) could be delivered immediately. On the plus side, we got the freezer cleaned out, which was on Mom’s to-do list.
Thanksgiving was quiet this year. Dad wanted leftovers, so instead of TV dinners, we got one of those ready-to-reheat meals from Wegman’s. And it was good! The leftovers were just as good reheated the second time (and more, I hope, there’s still some left). We also got a call at about 1pm on Good Friday from Dad’s sister- she, their brother and sister-in-law were coming back from Thanksgiving with my cousin in Maryland and wanted to have lunch. Once again, our house (2 hours away) is the end of the earth, but my cousin moves 3 hours further south, and they’re down there all the time. It’s a good thing we don’t want to see them that often!
Things at Work: still no work. But, I have heard back from a couple of places, and have an interview for Thursday. So, wish me luck!
