don't work for a female boss. male bosses are better.

The feminist part of me doesn't like that, but the rest is remembering that I've only ever had female bosses and they've all been unreasonable. So maybe there is something to that.

I've had two female bosses. One was horrible. The next was wonderful. Go by people, not gender. I once went on a job interview and the man would have been my boss. He made such a sexist comment about women and the full moon...! (No, I didn't get the job. I think my answer didn't make him happy.)

Hang in there! I think everyone gets one bad job so they have stories to tell later. ;)

That was the thing this time, the interview went SO WELL. I was super excited to get this job (not the only one I'd interviewed for, but the one I was really hoping for). The lady who ended up being my boss sounded so nice, so smart, but she turned out to be more Jekyll and Hyde- some days, everything I did was right, my questions were fine, she was happy to help me; some days, I could do nothing right, why did I dare to ask questions, shouldn't I know this by now? And I did the same kind of work all the time, always polite and pleasant. it got really stressful after a while.

I've been applying again, and I'm lucky that I'm still at home so I don't have so much to worry about until I find another job.
