Hee, love how Rodney blithely orders John to do one thing & then the opposite without explanation--I think he likes to rev John up almost as much as the reverse. ;-) And if this thingie really is a replicator they'd better analyze any food or drink it produces six ways from Sunday. I wouldn't put it past the Ancients to have added a touch of saltpeter-equivalent to help keep everyone's attention on Ascension....
