Boys' Day Out
Very early on Saturday morning, McGee opened his apartment door to find a casually-dressed and far-too-chipper Tony grinning at him. “Get dressed, Probie! Something you don’t mind getting pretty beat up, ‘cause Gibbs is dragging us out into the woods…”
McGee had thrown on old jeans and a t-shirt before he even stopped to think about it. “Wait… what’s going on?” he asked, sliding into the backseat of Gibbs’s car.
“Camping trip!” said Tony, just as Gibbs answered, “Deep woods survival training.”
“Oh.” The odd thing was, McGee found that he was somehow looking forward to it. He grinned. “Okay.”
