Language of Love

Tony’s accent was truly awful. Ziva tried not to laugh- and sometimes, it took every ounce of undercover training she possessed- because he was trying, and that was more than anyone had done for her in a very long time.

“And I’d like a large coffee,” said Tony, to the waitress at the café, then frowned at Ziva. “What? Wasn’t that right?”

“Yes,” she said, smiling. “That was just fine.”

“Hebrew is hard,” he protested, “and I haven’t had much chance to practice, and… I don’t want to embarrass you, Ziva.”

She leaned in to kiss him. “You do not.”
