“Could you really?” asked Tony, thoughtfully, crossing to stand beside Abby’s lab table.
“Don’t touch that, it’s evidence,” she said, automatically, then frowned. “Could I really do what?”
He made a show of putting his hands into his pockets. “Kill someone, and not leave any forensic evidence. You keep saying you could do it, so can you really?”
Abby paused, considering. “I’m sure I could. I know I could,” she said, smiling. “But I haven’t exactly got a solid plan on how. It didn’t really seem like a good idea, you know?”
“Plausible deniability,” Tony agreed, smiling back. “Good thinking.”
