They didn’t have a case that day, all of their paperwork had been turned in and approved, and there were no new leads to follow. As the day wore on, McGee got increasingly fidgety, but a few hours later, it was Ziva who snapped.
She slammed both hands onto her desk, glaring across at her partner. “What is it?” she demanded.
“What’s what?” asked Tony.
“What ridiculous, juvenile prank do you have planned for us?”
“He doesn’t!” said McGee, suddenly. “He didn’t do anything, he’s just been letting us worry that he did!”
Tony grinned. “Am I good, or what?”
