A Joy Forever

Sometimes, when Ziva was feeling happy and at peace with the world, she liked nothing more than to curl up on a sunny afternoon with a cup of tea and an old, well-worn book of poetry from England’s Romantic era.

For a long time, it had been her secret indulgence, but now, Ziva was glad she’d decided to share it with someone.

Because beautiful words were somehow more beautiful with Tony half-asleep at her side, his head in her lap and his hand curled around her knee, letting her know just by being there that all those words were true.
