Winter Weather
It had been snowing when Jimmy arrived at work that morning, but during the day had turned into rain, covering his windshield in thick ice. The wind cut straight through him as he managed to clear it away.
Shivering, Jimmy pulled open his door and collapsed into the seat, grateful he’d thought to start the engine before he went to clear the windshield. As his fingers thawed, Jimmy looked out the now-clear window-
And saw Dr. Mallard’s Morgan sitting, still ice-covered, a few spaces away.
With a sigh and a smile, Jimmy headed back into the cold, ice-scraper in hand.
