Read Again?: will probably re-read the whole series
Can I say first that I really love the idea of the Roman camp? I loved the original Greek version, sure, but I was a Latin minor in college, so even though I live on the east coast, I think I would have ended up at Camp Jupiter if I was a half-blood.
I also really like the characters in this one. All of the characters in the series are great, and I like how this series switches points-of-view, so we can get the thoughts from different people.
Title:

Mulan is one of my favorite stories, and I love fairy tale/legend re-tellings in general. I’ve read several of the other “Once Upon a Time” series, and several by this author, and they’ve all been great, but I think this one is the best I’ve read so far.

I’m glad I read this one- it’s classic literature that everyone should know. But old-time knights do seem to do a lot of riding off into the woods, challenging random people to to-the-death (or horrible injury) jousts, doing favors for random damsels and smoting people’s heads off. But now I feel like watching “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” would be even funnier…
Title:
Star Trek: Voyager: The Eternal TideAuthor: Kirsten Beyer
Genre: science-fiction
Publishing Date: 2012
Pages: 400
Collection: my personal library
Read Before?: no
Read Again?: maybe
Okay, this one was weird. And part of a kind of weird series. But there were a couple of scenes that I particularly liked- part of the story involved the Q, especially the young Q (I think of him as ‘Little Q’). So before he traveled to Voyager (which had gone back to the Delta Quadrant) he stopped at Starfleet Academy to see Icheb. And of course, the scene where Tom and little Miral are watching “Captain Proton” on Tom’s old-fashioned TV, and he’s daydreaming about when she’s old enough to be Buster Kincaid in his holo-program. Too cute!
