Rainy Day Dinner
The storm came on so suddenly that both Tony and Ziva jumped at the first crack of thunder.
“Wow, it is really coming down,” said Tony, peering out of his apartment window. “Looks like you’re staying for dinner, Zee-vah.”
“Of what?” she replied. “We cannot order anything delivered in this storm.”
He frowned. “Are you implying I can’t cook?”
“No, I am saying it outright.”
Tony grinned and moved to the kitchen. “It’s raining, so we’ll have the classic rainy day meal.”
Ten minutes later, they sat down to bowls of condensed tomato soup and piping hot grilled cheese sandwiches.
