Oh, that was so sad!

But I actually love your take on Sam here, much more sympathetic and nice than she was in the actual episode. And at least this Rodney can know that somewhere, he still has John.

When I read your listing of pairings and compared that to the word count, I really wondered how you were going to pull all that off in so few words, but you did it, and did it well. No smoke and mirrors!

Thank you for handwaving the lack of O'Neill in this episode. The Road Not Taken and Unending were the two episodes where it was simply criminal of TPTB not to have any mention of the man!
