Warm In
Head ducked against the blizzard and arms full of blankets, Jimmy almost couldn’t see Gibbs’s front door. It opened before he could knock, and he stumbled inside into the warmth.
Jimmy’s glasses fogged up immediately, and he couldn’t tell who took the blankets and who helped him out of his coat until the lenses cleared and Dr. Mallard was bustling him into the living room.
“Come sit by the fire. Jethro, Anthony, you as well, let’s get you warm.”
Jimmy allowed himself to be gently pushed onto the couch, and passed the blanket over Gibbs to Tony.
“I already am.”
