Things at Work: our new supervisor is doing okay. She came from a totally different department, so she’s still mostly just learning how things work, but she’s getting the hang of it.

APRIL
Things at Home: 3 humans, 1 cat. All is well. With us, at least. We had an unexpected loss in our extended family - my mom’s cousin. She’d had a heart condition since she was born and had been living with it her whole life, but it finally caught up with her. She and Mom had always been close growing up, and I’ve gotten to know her at the reunions. Mom, Dad & I drove up for the memorial, and I know we’ll all miss her more at the next reunion in August.
