“You already did. I was thinking about when you first came here. I wasn’t sure I wanted a sister. I liked things the way they were.”
“Change is scary.”
Amber smiled, bumping their shoulders together gently. “Yes. But worth it. I’m glad you’re my sister, Sofia.”
“Me, too. Ready to go back inside?”
“Not just yet. Stay with me?”
Sofia nodded. “Of course.”
