“But you did great work on that case. What’s the problem?”
“Thanks. The problem is, I hate when the murders are all for money. I mean, not that it’s better to be dead because of hate or jealousy, but…”
“No, I get it,” said Jimmy. “It’s so cold, so pointless, killing just to make a buck.”
Kasie sighed. “Exactly.”
“Good thing we have a top-notch forensic scientist to catch them, then.”
She smiled. “Yeah.”
