“This is a typical market of your world?” asked Teal’c.
Jack selected a shopping cart. “Ix-nay on the ‘your world’ talk outside the base, okay? But yes, this is a grocery store. Food market.”
“I see.”
“We’re just here for the basics, but if you see something you wanna try…”
Teal’c nodded.
They walked in silence down several aisles, Jack occasionally putting something into the cart. Then, Teal’c slowly plucked a box from the shelf.
“The people of… Colorado… consume frogs?”
“Honey Smacks? No, it’s-” Jack peered at the box, “-wheat.”
“I shall try these.”
Jack grinned. “Perfect.”
