(no subject)
E had been such a great boy all week I got him a cupcake at the bakery before I picked him up at daycare. I gave it to him in the car and he ate it really well, but got a little bit of chocolate frosting on his pants. Later that night M asked, "What happened to your pants?" E said, "I don't know....there was a cupcake."
I got a great compliment on Thursday. I had called the Exec VP for a different reason and he said, "Oh. I thought you were calling to say you changed your mind." When I said I hadn't he said, "But you're going to give us another 6 months?" Then, "3 months?" Then "1 month?" I went in yesterday to thank him for the really sweet compliment and he sat me down and made the request again. I told him I had always offered to come in a couple days a week for a few hours to keep the ship afloat, so to speak. He looked relieved. So, I think I'm going to get an offer to come back on a limited basis. I the only question is how long will I want to do this?
