Yeah, I know. I suck at the updating.
The past few weeks have been wonderful, from a birthday celebration for celebnaur at Marrakesh, to kareoke last night at Kaede. Been keeping busy, and living my litte two-day vacations to the fullest.
Work has been going well, trying to hunker down for the holiday dip in revenue. I haven't been experiencing it yet, but my ass most certainly will come December, when Beacon Plumbing's contract runs out.
Just as a note, there is a $50 coupon for Beacon on the back of Seattle Weekly. If you have a plumbing problem, I highly recommend using it! Not only will they come out for free with that coupon, they do a fast job. Plus, they'll go just about anywhere in the Puget Sound area.
Oh, and if you're looking for seasonal work at the moment, or even a permanent position, our employment section has some really good prospects right now.
Only thing bad with work is the human dynamic. Two coworkers are dating in our department, and that will be tense at some point. Not looking forward to their first big fight. Besides that, we are dealing with less business and more inter-office poaching as the happiest time of the year is upon us.
Been hanging out with chibi_arwen a lot lately, and been having a blast! We work out, go out to see people she knows, sit around and BS for hours. It's a nice social life. Also saw shadowlair and her J last weekend with CA, and there was much bellydancing. Mostly by them, as I had developed a huge headache that morning and had done something to my leg. Was still fun, and we were able to spend some quality time.
Today, I'm taking the ferry to mimerki's lovely home to celebrate post-Thanksgiving gorging. There will be games, desserts and the like. Exciting!
I really need to figure out my Christmas shopping... Construction may be required this year...
