Ame ga arimasu....

There was indeed rain today. Tomoko-san made sure I took my umbrella, as she is awesome and sweet like that.

I feel a stirring in my uterus that is defying my pills. Sorry for the TMI, but you must suffer along with me, if what I think is happening is. *evil glower*

Went to go see a movie today, after a delicious lunch at the Hayashi Cafe. It's a nice little place in a basement near school, situated right next to an Indian food place. Has the Japanese version of comfort food, plus is filling and cheap. They also give you candy when you leave, which gives any place points in my book.

After lunch, we went to Roppongi to go to the theatre there. There's this rumor that if you're a gaijin, they let you in for 1,000yen, rather than the usual 1,800. This was not true, but the fact they let women in for 1,000 yen on Wednesdays is quite the true. Thus, we went to see Gamera. Yet, the Roppongi Hills theatre does not have Gamera. They did have Limit of Love 2, which has been all over TV here. Thus, we went to that.

I must say, I kinda liked it. I never want to be near a boat again, but it was a good story. It also made me believe that they had killed EVERYONE near the end. I mean, the unthinkable happens, explosions occur, and you are left thinking they just killed all of the characters to make a point about the fragility of life or some such thing. Then everything is okay! It was executed MUCH better than an American action movie, let me tell you. If you ever see it at the video store, which I highly doubt, I recommend it. We watched it in all Japanese, but the language barrier wasn't so much a problem for the most part. The dialogue could have been horrid, but us gaijin were happily unaware of it.

Had dinner at this interesting little fast food place called First Metropolitan Convenience Kitchen. Had a little katsu sandwhich and fries with a drink. Fast, cheap, tasty. I was too worried about my host family for anything else. Everyone is sick now, excluding me and maybe Toshiyuki-san. Well, I'm at least not actively sick. I still cough a lot, and have trouble breathing, but no fever. I let Tomoko-san know I am willing to do anything to help, and hope she takes me up on it. She looked so miserable tonight! I barely dealt with being sick by myself. I can't imagine taking care of a baby and little girl who are also sick too. *sighs* I worry too much...

Thus is my update. I am now going to read more "Ask Prudence" rather than doing my homework.
