ahha hhahaha... just read ali's entry about dentist- which is really quite diturbing- and maddy's entry about american pop cultre + disease.
ali, i would avoid the braces at all costs. even though i had braces -and headgear, as i'm sure you all can remember!- i still snicker at anyone over the age of sixteen that has metal mouth.
so... i started studying for the gmat yesterday. started burshing up on the old math. and by "brushing up" i mean relearning how to do long division, multiply decimals, add fractions and mixed numbers. which the last time i remembering doing all of this was in 5th grade. and i haven't used it since. but much to my horror, it's back. in a big way. threatening to endanger my gmat scores. i'm pretty confident that ari remembers all her math, but after taking a general survey (of everyone i talked to) yesterday, it seems everyone else is just as "rusty" as i am. which makes me feel better. and proves a very important truth: everything we suspected about math when we were younger, such as we'll never actually use it, and get by in life just fine without it, is absolutely true!
