I love you and your blood: Side Story 1: Pt. 2
Jun scanned the crowd of screaming girls, looking for one who had been plaguing his thoughts constantly. This night he went backstage disappointed, as usual. The other members of Arashi watched him, knowing that behind his cool exterior he was squirming with anxiety. Ohno patted him on his back to show him that they cared about his anxiousness. Jun smiled at them all, they had always been very close and experienced everything each other felt.
Once the concert was over Jun got his things together and headed out ahead of the others. He was stopped by Nino who took him aside to speak to him.
“Miku wanted me to ask you if you’d meet her at some club tonight. Also, I don’t know why she asked you out, but you better keep eye on her, she better not get hit on by some sleazy guys,” Nino explained to Jun, his face showing his displeasure.
“Don’t worry I won’t let that happen to her, honestly I’m curious as to why she asked me out,” Jun reassured his buddy as though he talking to a father about taking out his daughter.
A few hours later Jun arrived at a club he hadn’t heard of, dressed in his usual club appropriate attire. The neon lights spelt out the words “Sweet Paradise” which shone down onto the sidewalk where Miku was waiting. She looked very different with her hair done nicely, a low cut red shirt, and a short ruffled white skirt with a pair of knee length black boots. Jun went up to her and wrapped his arm around Miku’s arm. He could see the men eyeing her and he promised to protect Miku, who obviously didn’t think her outfit would cause a stir. The people in line stared curiously as the two of them looked like a pair of good-looking celebrities as they strode up to the bouncer who let them in without any hassle.
Once inside Miku yelled over the music into Jun’s ear, “Follow me!”
Jun followed Miku through the crowd as she led him over to another bouncer standing in front of a nice unmarked red door. Jun couldn’t quite catch what Miku said as she showed him something before he let them in. Once they climbed some stairs they arrived in a quieter VIP box where a good-looking man awaited them. Miku went over to the man who opened his arms and embraced her in a friendly matter.
“Miku I’m so glad you came!” the man sounded elated as he checked out what Miku was wearing.
“No thank you for doing this for me. By the way, Jun, this is my friend Yuya and he’s a singer so he tends to enjoy the VIP room when not on the dance floor,” Miku explained to Jun before she pulled off to the side.
“Does Nino know about you meeting this guy?” Jun whispered.
“I get to meet a lot of artists, but he doesn’t know about Yuya. It’s not like I’m cheating on him, I’m doing this for you,” Miku explained before she went over back to Yuya.
“So I found that girl you were talking about that one time. She frequents here a lot, she should be down there right now,” Yuya explained as he pointed out into the crowd.
Jun walked over to the glass wall and looked out into the crowd. He searched the crowd and saw the long light brown hair flying around the girl who was dancing amidst a group of girls. Jun couldn’t control his feelings any longer and he found his feet moving him down to the dance floor. He pushed past the men and women as he scented out the familiar intoxicating perfume he sensed easily with his hyped vampire senses. Rin turned to see Jun standing in front of her looking down slightly before grabbing her wrist and dragging her away. He took her back up to the VIP room where Miku and Yuya were sitting and enjoying talking together at the bar.
“Oh you found her?!” Miku sounded elated as she saw Jun drag her in.
“Oh, what a beautiful woman, but she’s nothing compared to you Miku,” Yuya teased Miku before taking another sip from his glass.
Miku laughed it off before seeing Rin tear herself away from Jun.
“I was in the middle of something! Why did you bring me here?!” Rin yelled at Jun anger coloring her voice.
“Do you have any idea what you’ve done to me?!” Jun snapped back.
Rin was taken aback before replying, “What are you talking about?”
“You walked into my life and then right back out of it and you expect me to forget you after that one night?! I can’t stop thinking about you for crying out loud! Your face, your touch, the feel of your soft lips, and that cursed intoxicating perfume has clouded my mind for days!” Jun rambled on, rendering Rin speechless.
When Jun finished Rin was just looking down at her feet before answering, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for all of the trouble I’ve cause you. I only did all that because I didn’t want you to throw me away after you got what you wanted that night. I was afraid that all you wanted was my body.”
Jun grabbed Rin, pulling her close as he embraced her. Miku tapped Yuya on the shoulder and asked him to go to the dance floor with her so that Jun and Rin had some time alone. Once they were gone, Jun and Rin separated as they stared into each other’s eyes.
“Rin, if I told you that I couldn’t live without you, couldn’t sleep without knowing you were mine, would you consider staying by my side?” Jun asked her seriously.
Rin looked into his eyes once again as she answered, “I will stay with you for as long as you continue to love me.”
Rin hugged Jun once again before Jun leaned into her ear and whispered, “Would you love me even if I told you I’m vampire?”
Rin pulled away slightly as she looked for some joke on his face, but he looked entirely serious. She nodded her head before laying it on his chest, whispering she would even if he was a vampire. Jun tilted her chin up and placed a soft kiss on her lips. Then the hunger set in as he kissed her longer and with more passion this time. When they parted Jun leaned in once again as he asked her one more thing. She nodded her head once again before leaning back and letting Jun bite her neck.
The next day Jun happily walked into the green room looking refreshed and carefree.
“What’s with creepy Jun?” Nino asked jokingly.
“You aren’t the only one around here who has a woman now, and mine let me bite her after we kissed so I didn’t have to suffer. Rin really is the best woman I’ve ever had and one of the prettiest things too,” Jun explained taking a seat on the couch, crossing one leg over the other.
Just then Miku walked in and said, “Look who I found!”
Jun turned to see Rin dressed in her geeky outfit as she walked in and waved at everyone. Jun’s jaw dropped as he rushed over to her and looked her up and down.
“Why are you dressed like that?!” Jun demanded to know.
“Eh? But I always dress like this when I go out,” Rin explained before pulling Jun closer and whispering into his ear, “Consider it a little secret between us of what I’m capable of...”
She let him go before walking over to the others and introducing herself, not knowing that the other four could still hear her with their vampire hearing. Jun let out a sigh, shrugging his shoulders before walking over and wrapping his arm around her shoulder and placing a kiss on her cheek…
