Finding Mr. Right: Episode 1
So here's the first episode, let me know what you think even though not much will go on lol enjoy XD
The doors swung open as the first young man walked in. He was tall and had long limbs with a strange reddish pink hair color. He had a sweet young face but he seemed nervous and shy in front of the cameras.
“First we have is Choi Jun Hung, a 21 year old student from Korea,” the hostess announced as he walked towards them.
When he and Akira met eyes he smiled and averted his eyes an evident blush on his fair skin. He definitely towered over the much shorter women, but it was clear that he was a gentle giant. The two exchanged polite bows before he was escorted to the side to stand by. The next man to walk through the doors was young as well and tall but not quite as tall as his former. His hair was a dirty blonde and he had dark circles under his puffy eyes. He was just as skinny as Jun Hung but he was quite strong as Akira found out.
“Huang Zi Tao, a man most known for working with stars and their action fight scenes as well as starring in a few of his own in both Japan and Korea. He’s currently residing in Korea despite being from China and is a mere 21 years old,” she introduced him as he coolly walked their way.
He gave Akira a smirk that caught her off guard before walking over to stand by Jun Hung. She couldn’t help but glance back towards them and caught Zi Tao looking right at her with a smile on her face. She quickly looked away, trying to keep her cool around them. The door opened again and a young man with a tanner skin compared to the other fair skinned men, made his way towards them. He had smoothness to his walk but as he got closer his face broke out into a shy cute smile.
“None other than Kim Jong In or as some know him by his stage name Kai, a 22 year old with a reputation in the dancing world as a young prodigy, has come to participate as well in winning Akira’s affections,” the hostess read off her card as he made his way up to Akira.
He did a small twirl for her before bowing and smiling shyly, shaking her hand briefly before running over to the other men. Akira was captivated by his dancing; having a passion for dancing herself even though not many knew that. When the doors opened again a smaller man with a familiar owl-like cuteness walked his way towards them, bowing politely to the excited staff.
“One person we were surprised to hear from, the soulful and seductive singer Do Kyung Soo or as we all know him as D.O. This young 22 year old is quite famous in Korea for his vocal talent and overall cuteness despite his manly personality that stole many hearts,” the hostess swooned momentarily before returning to her professional stance.
D.O blushed a bit at his introduction before smiling widely at Akira who remembered him from a commercial they both shot about a year ago. They bowed to each other before he quickly went to the others. The door opened again as they continued at the steady pace of introducing the young men. This time a much taller man with a big grin on his face walked in, waving to everyone as everyone recognized him. He was seen on many shows as an overall entertainer in the entertainment world, winning over hearts with his charming smile and loveable personality.
“Park Chan Yeol, a 23 year old we all know so well on the Korean tv shows and radio,” the hostess went on as she introduced him.
Akira mainly listened for their names and age, not caring much about anything else she had to say about them. He went up to her, shooting her a big smile before shaking her hand and heading over to the other men. She couldn’t help but smile back at him, causing everyone to pause at the sweet smile she hardly showed. Then it disappeared just as quickly as it showed as the door opened once again.
Akira’s face lit up when she saw the familiar face and blurted out, “Yuya-kun?!”
Everyone was surprised by the sudden outburst by her before he smiled and waved at her. He walked towards them as the hostess introduced the 23 year old singer who was a friend of Akira’s after getting to know each other in a stage play. The other guys were feeling uneasy seeing the natural friendly atmosphere around the two of them. Yuya bowed to her before walking over to the other guys, noticing that they were watching him closely the entire time. The door opened again and the next man to walk in was very good looking. He was lean and had tanner skin with a slightly feminine face. He strutted towards them, showing off his model’s walk.
“Taisuke Fujigaya, a young 23 year old model in Japan, best known for showing up in multiple magazines and walking the catwalk of Tokyo’s famed runway shows,” she introduced him.
The two bowed to each other before Taisuke gave Akira a once over before smiling to himself and heading off to the other guys. The door opened again and it was apparent that the young man had won the women staff member’s hearts instantly. He looked very innocent with his smile and dimples on his fair cheeks. He was quite tall with long slender limbs and a graceful walk. Akira recognized him as one of the up and coming young models whom she had briefly worked with in a music video, but the two had barely spoken to each other.
“Lee Hong Bin, the 23 year old model who steals hearts with his melting smile and adorable dimples,” the hostess sighed with a smile on her face as he approached them.
He politely bowed to her before speaking up, “Do you remember me Akira? I know it must have been a forgetful memory.”
“I remember you. You were a good actor in the music video. I never forget someone with potential like you,” she complimented him.
He smiled again before quickly running away, trying to hide the excitement on his face. “The young and rising stars Ravi and Leo are 23 and 24, looking to win over the young Akira’s heart without hurting their friendship.”
Akira and Leo met eyes and he did a slight bow to her as she remembered how he looked at her in the pool just earlier that day. She felt a bit awkward seeing him again as his intense stare made her heart race against her will. Ravi smiled at her and gave her a quick casual bow before the two walked off to the side. The next young man to walk in was quite tall, maybe one of the tallest of all the guys, and had a handsome face with strong features. He was blonde and his hair style made him look like a highschooler.
“Wu Yi Fan is a 24 year old language teacher fluent in English, Mandarin, Korean, and Cantonese. He teaches classes for these languages at his newly opened language school where students come from around the world to learn about other cultures and learn a new language as well.”
When he came up to Akira he extended a hand out to her and added “You can just call me Kris, it’s easier and only my mother calls me by my other name.”
She nodded her head in agreement before shaking his hand and joking, “I’ll only call you that when you’re in trouble.”
He let out a small laugh before giving her a small nod and heading over to the other guys. The door opened again and the next man to walk in had an intense stare that contradicted with his sweet gummy smile.
“Bang Yong Guk, a humanitarian just barely 24 has already done many charity works, raising thousands and donating tons of goods to many causes for children, animals, and people in need. He spends most of his time volunteering but is known for bringing many women along with him who are captivated by his good looks and sweet demeanor, wanting to volunteer alongside him.”
It was apparent the last bit of information made him feel embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his head and nodded his head with his big smile on his face. Akira looked him over, understanding why so many women had fallen for his manly charms. The next young man to walk in was definitely smaller and frailer looking than the other young men. He had a smirk on his face that displayed more mischief than cockiness.
“Ninomiya Kazunari is a household name nowadays as this young 24 year old composer is associated with many great hits and movie soundtracks,” the hostess smiled as he gave her a polite bow.
Then he turned his attention to Akira, taking her hand in his and bringing it up to his lips. He placed a soft kiss on it, causing her to freeze from the unseen act. He smirked up at her before silently leaving her behind. If he had wanted to leave an impression he had succeeded. All of the guys eyed him carefully knowing that he was going to be a tough opponent to beat. The next man to walk in was handsome with strong facial features that made him easily recognizable.
“Matsumoto Jun, a 24 year old actor who has won many awards for his various drama leads and supporting roles,” the hostess excitedly announced as it was obvious she was a fan of his.
He politely walked up to Akira, giving her a sweet smile before the two exchanged bows. She didn’t want to admit it, but she wasn’t excited to see that familiar face again. She didn’t let that feeling affect her too much as the doors opened again and another guy walked in. He had longer wavy hair pulled back in a ponytail with his signature fedora on his head. Akira knew from one look who he was. She didn’t need to listen to the hostess introduce Jin Akanishi since he was a pretty well-known singer in Japan. He had a spectacular voice but was also known for his many scandals of playing around at night.
“Let’s get along well ok?” he chuckled to Akira as he extended a hand out to her.
She shook his hand lightly as she responded, “I’ll try my best.”
His hand held hers longer than she had expected so she quickly tore it away, surprising everyone. Jin just laughed before walking away to the other guys. Akira didn’t dare look at anyone as she wondered if they all thought she’d be cold to them after that. She felt the uneasiness subside as soon as she saw the smiling face on the next man to walk in. His smile was big and goofy, exuding a gentle aura. Akira couldn’t quite remember his name but she remembered seeing his face many times on television shows.
“Aiba Masaki is the beloved 25 year old entertainer of Japan, making all ages laugh and smile at his antics. He’s also a well-known avid lover of animals,” the hostess explained as the cameras went from him to them.
“Pleased to finally meet you, please look after me well,” he politely exchanged with her.
She nodded her head in agreement before he left quickly to the other guys with his same goofy smile on his face. The next young man to walk in looked young and was short, making Akira question exactly how old this kid was.
“Kitayama Hiromitsu, a 25 year old high school teacher was actually recommended and supported by his entire school for this once in a life time opportunity,” the hostess read off her card with a warm smile.
Akira couldn’t believe his age as he approached with an awkward smile on his face. It was obvious he was nervous in front of all the cameras as he extended his shaking hand to her. She smiled sweetly hoping to calm his nerves, but his face lit up bright red when they met eyes. She was taken aback by his reaction, blushing slightly herself as he quickly ran off to join the rest without a single word said to her. It was an odd first impression but Akira didn’t have much time to think about it as the next guy was ushered in.
He was nicely dressed and carried a professional air to him. It didn’t surprise anyone when the hostess explained that the young man, Sakurai Sho, was a newscaster in Japan. He walked erect and quick towards Akira, politely bowing and shaking her hand gently but with a good hold on her hand. Then just as quickly as he came he left to the others as the door opened again. Akira’s face lit up again when she saw the familiar face.
“Daichi Miura you old dog! What are you doing here?” she called out to him.
He couldn’t help but laugh as he walked towards them in long strides. Akira knew him from various works as he choreographed dances from commercials to music videos. The two were only a couple years apart, but she always teased him for being slightly older than her. They were always laughing around each other, being one of the only people who knew about her usual carefree side that hardly showed.
The two exchanged friendly words as their greeting was tried to be kept short like the other men. He was ushered to walk on to which he murmured to her that they’d catch up later. Finally the last man to come through the door made Akira’s jaw drop when she saw his face. He was a renowned artist she had admired for years, buying many of his works year after year.
“Ohno Satoshi is a unique artist whose style is very distinct to him. He recently celebrated his 27th birthday by creating a wonderful masterpiece on display now in his art gallery in Tokyo,” the hostess explained as he approached slowly.
He was a laid back man with a calm demeanor and healing aura that instantly hit you. Akira couldn’t help but feel her heart race and her cheeks flush a bit at meeting this man she had admired for so long. He smiled shyly at her before shaking hands with her and exchanging very little words. Once he walked over to the other men the hostess turned with Akira to face all the men.
“Before you is 20 men from many places with many different jobs. Some friends, some strangers, who will win over the heart of the one and only Akira? Stay tuned for the first elimination that will take place after Akira has had a chance to go on group dates with all these men!” the hostess read to the cameras before the director called cut.
Once the cameras turned off Akira was attacked with a hug from Daichi, “I can’t believe you’re actually doing this!”
Daichi was pulled off by a couple of the other guys, getting nasty looks from several more.
“And I can’t believe you’re doing this either, Yuya-kun. Are you guys here to mess with me?” she asked curiously as she placed her hands on her hips.
“I’m not here to mess around, I came here with all intentions of winning you over,” Yuya confessed, “Though I never thought you’d be doing something like this.”
“Well a lot of people didn’t think I’d do it but I decided this was the perfect opportunity to show everyone that there’s more to me than what they see on the screen,” Akira responded back as everyone watched her closely, listening intently.
