finally a new chapter for this story! Enjoy and hopefully it doesnt suck XD

When Akira arrived back in her room she couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty making the princes worry over her disappearance. She was briefly scolded by Sho on their way back, but now that she was alone with Ohno she wondered if he would scold her as well. She stood waiting by the door as she watched him sit on the window sill of her room, his gaze out the window.

“Come here please,” he ordered her without looking at her.

“I’m sorry about disappearing without letting anyone know. I already apologized to Prince Sho many times on our way back…” Akira tried to tell him as she walked towards him.

He finally turned his attention to her, looking at the riding dress still wet and sticking to her body in certain places. Her hair was still wet as it dripped occasionally onto the exposed parts of her chest and back. He let out a sigh before smiling at her.

“Did you go for a swim in your clothes?” he asked her jokingly.

Akira looked at her clothes before explaining her appearance, “I accidently fell into the pool in the temple. Luckily Taisuke was around to help me out, but walking back I was a bit embarrassed being this wet in front of everyone.”

“Yes, I wish you would be more conscious about yourself Akira, you’re so beautiful and looking like that I wouldn’t have put it past any man to have jumped you if you had walked back alone. Now please go wash up and change into your night clothes, starting tomorrow I have plans for you to visit the other kingdoms starting with the Yume kingdom. Be sure to get some good sleep, good night Akira,” he instructed her before taking his leave.

Akira watched him leave before going to wash up and get ready for bed. She had expected him to be a bit madder, but somehow she felt like he had warned her in his own way. Then she felt her face get hot thinking about how he called her beautiful with such a serious look in his eyes. She wondered if he had to hold himself from jumping her in the state she was in standing alone in front of him in her room. She shook her head to get rid of those thoughts, telling herself that Prince Ohno was a gentle prince who didn’t see her like that.

Then her mouth turned down into a frown as she imagined Ohno looking at Mizumi as a woman. She suited him so well and for some reason Akira felt like she’d lose against that other woman, especially in this foreign world. Akira let out a groan before finishing getting ready and flinging herself into her bed. She just wanted to sleep and forget all about the prince and Mizumi together.

---

The next day Akira was dressed nicely in a very formal gown like the first one she had worn when she had met the other princes. This time though she wore a royal purple dress that swept down into an almost heart shaped cut that didn’t go too far down, only showing a bit of cleavage. Her shoulders were covered this time as the dress had flowing trumpet sleeves that were darker in color than the torso of the dress and matched the skirt which was also flowing like the sleeves. There were golden accents on the torso of the dress and light swirling patterns flowing down the skirt. Akira felt very regal in the dress which was the point of it since she was making an appearance to the other kingdoms to introduce herself as the newly titled high priestess of the Mizu kingdom.

“Are you nervous? I know it’s a bit soon to start doing these things, but as my father instructed me it’s best if we give you that title so they stop calling you the new virgin siren. And after we visit all the kingdoms we can return and figure out more on how you got her…till then please put up with this charade. I promise I’ll look out for you so you don’t have to worry about messing up with others,” Ohno tried to reassure her as he placed a comforting hand on Akira’s hand as it rested on her thigh.

She looked into Ohno’s calming eyes and relaxed a bit before giving him a smile. The rest of the ride to the Yume kingdom was quiet after that moment as Akira took pleasure in Ohno keeping his hand on hers. Though she didn’t dare move her hand or try and hold his hand since she wasn’t sure exactly of his feelings towards her. Since the moment she met him she felt drawn to his gentleness and warmth he directed towards her, but at the same time she didn’t know how he thought of her this whole time other than a girl from another world.

When the carriage arrived at the Yume Kingdom’s castle, Akira couldn’t help but be impressed by the beautiful stones used, making the castle look straight out of a girl’s story book. The other princes had departed for their kingdoms the other night after they found Akira, getting ready for her visit to each of them. Prince Jun came out of the castle to greet him with a young pretty girl by his side. She had long dark brown hair that flowed past her shoulders with some of it pulled back out of her face by a small crown on her head. She had dark eyes that matched Jun’s and she was smiling sweetly as Ohno helped Akira out of the carriage.

“Welcome to Yume Kingdom High Priestess and Prince,” Jun formally greeted them before he and the woman bowed to them.

Akira tried to keep her composure and bowed back before looking up and giving the woman a warm smile. The other woman blinked twice before running up to Akira and taking her hand in her own.

“I’m Noriko Matsumoto! I can’t believe you’re the new high priestess! I was expecting some stuck up old woman, but you’re so young and beautiful!” Noriko excitedly told her with a youthful smile on her face.

Akira was taken aback by the girl who reminded her of an old friend she had. She smiled at Noriko before thanking her for the compliments. Jun went over to Ohno’s side as they exchanged looks over the girls. Ohno was glad to see Akira smiling and relaxing, knowing it was a good idea coming here first and having her meet Jun’s younger sister. Princess Noriko of the Yume Kingdom was always known as having a cool expression on her face, but being quite playful behind her coolness which seemed like a reoccurring trait in the Matsumoto family.

“So High Priestess exactly how old are you? You look so young!” Noriko asked her as they all walked into the castle.

“I’m only twenty two,” she answered.

“Oh the same as me! I turned twenty two not that long ago,” Noriko told her as she showed them to the assembly hall where the King and Queen of the Yume kingdom were waiting.

When they arrived Akira felt her heart race as she tried to walk gracefully towards the King and Queen without tripping over her dress. Ohno and Akira bowed to the King and Queen before Ohno introduced Akira to them. Akira stayed quiet as she observed Jun and Noriko’s parents. They were both good looking cool beauties that didn’t seem fazed seeing the new High Priestess. Once Ohno was done the Queen stood, hiding her mouth behind her sleeve, before asking them a few questions.

“High Priestess, forgive me if I come off rude, but what exactly has made you qualified for your title? I heard rumor you are a child born of the holy waters, is this true?” she asked with sharp eyes directed at Akira.

Akira was frozen by her gaze before Ohno stepped in and answered, “She wasn’t born of the holy waters, but she may have some kind of connection to them but for now we have no sure connection. She does have powers that are drawn out by the holy water and thus she was rewarded the high title because of it.”

“I wish to see proof of it,” the Queen quickly replied to his answers.

“You will see it when we call all of the royals to the Mizu Kingdom. Please be patient till then,” He answered her just as quickly as he didn’t lose ground against her.

She looked him up and down, giving Akira one quick glance before taking her seat again, “I look forward to it then.”

Akira swallowed the lump in her throat as they bowed before taking their leave to be shown to their room. Once they were alone Akira couldn’t help but fall to her knees and let out a huge breath. It felt like a great pressure had been lifted off her once they had left the piercing gazes of the royals.

“Are you ok?” Ohno asked Akira as he kneeled beside her.

“I’m just relieved to be out of there,” she answered him before he helped her stand up.

“Yes, her highness has always been quite a scary woman, but she’s like because she only wants to make sure no one betrays her family. We’ll probably face weariness from the other royal families because of your sudden title, but don’t worry, just hold your ground and it will be over soon enough,” Ohno reassured her as he helped her to sit on the bed.

“It’s understandable I’m some strange new woman visiting her home. I’m sure I look like an alien to them,” Akira jokingly told him.

“You’re no alien…if I had to describe it, you’d more like a fallen goddess to us,” he told her gently with a serious tone.

Akira felt her heart skip a beat before she tried to play off his words, “I don’t know what goddess you think I look like, I’m not suited for fancy things like this.”

“You should take a second look at yourself Akira, I don’t know what your old world was like, but to me you suit everything you wear,” Ohno told her before he reached over and pushed some of Akira’s hair out of her face so he could get a better look at her.

Her heart beat crazily against her ribs as her face flared up in embarrassment. She had never been complimented so much by a guy before and it was throwing her off completely. She had been so used to never wearing makeup, wore loose fitting clothing that hid her figure, and tried to not stand out from the crowd. But with this man, suddenly it felt like she had been allowed to finally completely bloom and show exactly how much of a beautiful flower she was. Oh crap I think I might be…might be falling for this guy…Akira thought to herself as she stared at his face.

The two sat in silence staring at one another before Akira reached over, hesitating a bit before putting her hand over Ohno’s. She was so scared he was going to retract his hand, but instead he turned his hand so that they held hands properly. Her cheeks flushed more as she smiled from the sheer bliss she was feeling having Ohno hold her hand so securely. Suddenly her head felt light and the room started to darken before she passed out on the bed. Ohno called her name over and over again as he tried to wake her, but Akira fell into a deep sleep.

---

Akira was in the holy temple back in the Mizu kingdom but when she looked around it looked as though she was alone. She wandered towards the water and looked at the surface, seeing her reflection and noticing that she was dressed in a long white flowing white sleeveless dress. Footsteps echoed as they came closer towards Akira, causing her to turn around quickly. Standing before was a tall handsome man who looked somewhat familiar to her though she wasn’t quite sure where she had seen him before.

“You’ve returned to me Yuri, I knew you would one day even if you’d change your looks by the time you came back,” the man spoke as he looked at Akira with such a yearning look.

“I’m sorry but I’m not Yuri…you must have mistaken me for someone else,” Akira tried to explain to him.

“No, I know you’re Yuri, you have her soul, I knew we’d be reunited one day if I waited long enough. I knew it was risky sending you away to a different world, but it was worth it my love! I’ve waited all this time for you to realize I was still here waiting…now we can be together again…forever!” the man spoke as he got closer and closer to Akira.

Akira kept stepping back till she knew she couldn’t step further back with the pool behind her. She begged with him to come to his senses about this, but it fell on deaf ears as he closed the space between them. Suddenly he reached out and wrapped his hands around Akira’s neck, cutting off her breathing. She struggled for him to let her go as tears rolled down her cheeks, begging for someone to save her.

Akira! Akira!

She felt the man let go of her and she fell back into the water as her world went dark.

Akira’s eyes fluttered open as she realized that she was staring up into Ohno as he hovered over her. She had heard his voice calling to her in her dream and tears suddenly ran down her cheeks as she felt thankful he had woken her from her awful nightmare. She sat up in bed and wrapped her arms around him as she cried into his chest, feeling his secure embrace around her. She wasn’t sure exactly what had happened, but she hoped she never had a dream like that again.

---

“I was so close! Someone interfered…tch! I brought her back her for me, but that cheating bitch is falling for another man! I need to hurry up and kill her because I won’t allow her to be with anyone but me…just wait Yuri, you will be mine and mine alone,” the man mumbled to himself before pulling his hood over his head.

He walked away from the sacred pool, keeping his face hidden as he ran off into the night…
