So my Twin asked me to write a fic and hopefully this met all her requirements she asked. Be happy twin cause you get such a crappy fic to read XD lol Enjoy~!
Things were getting boring between them again. Their lives had become predictable and he knew that soon she’d fly away again. Having a flighty lover that had no desire to be permanently tied down to him wasn’t what he wanted but somehow he still wound up with her. But now he wanted something more than just the sex and physical needs he was filling because something else felt empty within him.
nbsp; “…are you going to come back Akira?” he asked finally as he sat on the bed watching his lover ready herself before the mirror.
nbsp; She didn’t turn to look at him as she answered, “Who knows…”
nbsp; This had happened before and so it was no surprise when she didn’t come home that night. Instead of being alone in that empty apartment Taisuke took the opportunity to go out. He hit up a small bar he and his single friends used to pick up women. It was the same bar he had seen Akira and it wasn’t long before she came back to his place and started their rocky relationship. She had always kept a mysterious air around her for the on and off months they had been together. He unconsciously let out a heavy sigh thinking it was no use reminding himself about her at this point.
nbsp; “Such a good looking guy like you shouldn’t be sighing like that,” a girl chuckled lightly as she sat next to Taisuke.
nbsp; He turned to look at her, thinking the woman was pretty bold for approaching him first. Dark eyes, long dark hair, cute face with a mischievous smile on her face, she was better than he was expected.
nbsp; “And a cute girl like yourself shouldn’t be reduced to picking up men, it should be the other way around,” he leaned towards her with a sly grin on his face.
nbsp; “I don’t like passing up on good looking men like yourself,” she lowered her voice as she leaned in towards him.
nbsp; They stared intensely at each other, giving each other so many signals that they were into each other, but Taisuke leaned into her ear to whisper, “I have a girlfriend…hope you’re ok with that.”
nbsp; “I have a boyfriend, hope that’s ok with you…” she responded back as she slipped a hand down his thigh.
---
nbsp; Her cellphone kept going off, prompting her to roll over and silence it. She glanced over at this stranger she went home with smiling at how cute his sleeping face was. She flipped the phone open and took a quick picture of his face before going into her messages. She quickly texted back a response before slipping quietly from the bed and putting on her clothes. She hated to just disappear on the poor guy, but sadly she was needed elsewhere. She generously left her number for him on his table before running out the door. Once outside she headed to her apartment, feeling her phone going off again.
nbsp; “Hello?” she answered dully.
nbsp; “Noriko, where have you been? You didn’t answer my texts till this morning and now you’re being cold. You’re really not like yourself nowadays…” the man’s voice cold voice trailed off.
nbsp; She bit her lip before answering, “I can say the same to you Yuta…”
nbsp; Noriko hung up abruptly as she didn’t want to hear anymore. She doesn’t know how it had gotten this way between her and boyfriend. They had been so happy for so long, but then for some reason when she asked what he planned for his future he became distant to her. Now it felt like everything was falling slowly apart around her and she couldn’t stand it. Going out last night she realized she shouldn’t have tried to seek comfort with another man, but at the same time she had realized how futile it was. No matter how much she loved Yuta a part of her knew he’d never love her as much. Suddenly a picture of the man she slept with last night came to mind and she couldn’t help but look at the picture she took of him sleeping.
nbsp; “I wouldn’t mind if he called me for another drink or something…” she laughed to herself before sticking her phone back in her pocket and continuing home.
---
nbsp; Taisuke couldn’t explain it but when she left her number for him he couldn’t help but be overly happy. Then when she actually answered his calls and texts he was sent to cloud 9. She would go out to drink with him and the two would always end up back at his place. The two never mentioned their lovers and instead actually took a genuine interest in the other person. In just a month the two had become so entangled in each other that Taisuke was beginning to believe that Noriko might just be the one he was meant for after all. The only problem was that he wasn’t sure if she was still seeing that boyfriend she had mentioned the first time they met. One night as they were cuddling after sex Taisuke couldn’t help but bring it up.
nbsp; “Noriko…you know how you mentioned having a boyfriend before…are you still seeing him now?” he asked her hesitantly.
nbsp; She remained quiet for a moment before answering, “Yuta and I grew apart. We mutually decided to separate not long after I started seeing you Taisuke.”
nbsp; Taisuke stole a kiss from her before adding, “I’m glad. Just to let you know I actually separated from my girlfriend the first day I met you. She left me when she and I knew we couldn’t settle down together…but that doesn’t matter now because I have you.”
nbsp; Noriko wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into another kiss. Taisuke pulled her on top of him as they kissed, legs intertwined beneath his covers. When they parted she looked into his eyes and could see the sincere feeling in them. She remembered how Yuta would look at her like that when they first started dating, but somehow he had lost it over time. Good but painful memories started to flood back to her and she buried her face into Taisuke’s chest to keep him noticing the pain on her face. He was too enamored at the moment that he didn’t notice and held her tightly.
nbsp; Another month passed and soon Taisuke was getting ready to ask Noriko to move in with him. He hummed happily to himself as he returned to his apartment, but it all disappeared when he saw a familiar face waiting for him in the living room. She hadn’t changed since the last time they saw each other but somehow she didn’t look at happy as she usually did. Then it clicked that maybe she found out he had found someone else and was happier with her.
nbsp; “What are you doing here Akira?”
nbsp; “You and Noriko really hit it off. I knew you guys would be great together…” she started before Taisuke cut her off.
nbsp; “How do you know Noriko? You’re not making sense!” his anger started to rise seeing her acting so composed.
nbsp; “Noriko was one of my friends. I told her that if she went to that bar we met at that she’d meet someone who would take care of her…but even though you hit if off so well…Taisuke I’m sorry, but Noriko is going back to that sorry boyfriend of hers…” she tried explaining as she walked towards him.
nbsp; “YOU’RE LYING!!”He snapped at her. “YOU LEFT ME AND NOW YOU’RE TELLING ME LIES SO I DOUBT NORIKO BUT I WONT LET YOU DECIEVE ME OR PLAY WITH MY FEELINGS ANYMORE!!”
nbsp; “LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE! I’M TELLING YOU THIS BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU TAISUKE!!” She yelled back at him.
nbsp; He shut up seeing this different side of her. Never once had she yelled at him during the times they had been together. Akira went over to him and wrapped her arms around him as she tried to comfort him.
nbsp; She stuck around once again after Taisuke heard the truth from Noriko. She was indeed going back to her boyfriend. He had apparently learned in their time apart that he couldn’t love anyone else and that Noriko was the only one for him. Even though Taisuke thought Noriko had completely given up on him, somehow she had still harbored feelings for him. The final blow to him though was finding out that Noriko had accepted his proposal and was now engaged to him. Once again Taisuke felt like he had been abandoned by love and was never going to be happy. He cried tears of sorrow and anger as he destroyed his room and locked himself away.
nbsp; Akira stuck around not wanting to leave Taisuke alone. Even though she knew she wasn’t that much better than Noriko, she was better than nothing. She cooked him meals and left them at his door hoping he’d come out soon. He’d take the meals in his room for a few days before he decided to show his face again. When she saw his face again she could see how broken his heart was over her, showing her a face he had never shown when they were together.
nbsp; “You know Taisuke there’s a reason why I decided to never settle down. The man I loved died before we could marry and I knew I could never love another man the same way I did him. And seeing you now I know you never loved me as much as you love Noriko. I think she’s doing the wrong thing, but I think you’re the only thing that can keep her from marrying the wrong guy,” Akira told Taisuke before giving him a soft kiss on his forehead, “Now go to her and show her that you’re the one who loves her the most.”
nbsp; Taisuke gave Akira a long hug before running out the door. He was never going to lose sleep over her again because it was Noriko who’d he’d really lose sleep over if she married this man. He ran as quickly as he could to her apartment, banging loudly and insistently until she opened it. She was frozen seeing him standing before her, ready to shut the door on him, but she just couldn’t do it. He let himself in, closing the door behind him before sweeping Noriko into an embrace.
She didn’t resist him as she managed to weakly ask, “What are you doing here Taisuke?”
“I love you Noriko and I can’t stand the thought of you marrying this guy! You may have known him longer, but I know that in the short time we’ve been together that you came to love me too! Please don’t marry him and be with me forever!” Taisuke frantically tried to convince her.
“I was afraid…I thought it was too good to be true to have found you Taisuke. I thought if I settled with Yuta that I’d be taking the safe route because I couldn’t be sure you’d love me once Akira came back into your life. But now I know it was stupid of me to try and take that safe route! I don’t love Yuta like I used to because I love you now Taisuke!” Noriko’s voice wavered as she clenched Taisuke’s shirt tightly.
Taisuke lifted her face up and gave her a loving kiss. Everything felt right when it was the two of them. They were sure nothing else was going to be the same, they needed each other and no one would come between them. From here and now, they’d be together forever.
