So here is a new fanfic that I started! I really hope you like! I can't believe I haven't written anything in awhile so hopefully this will be good!
Intuition is the one thing people possess that helps them keep out of dangerous places and from just as dangerous people. The problem is that many people don't trust it and end up wishing they did...
He lit the cigarette the soft glow of the burning stick lit the dark room slightly as he gazed out the large window. The window took almost the whole wall and looked out onto the city of Tokyo. Despite it being night the city was still bright in its multicolored lights that blinked and flashed on and off. After taking a long drag he exhaled a large puff of smoke against the cool surface of glass. The sheets stirred and a woman pushed her naked body up so that she was sitting up on her knees. Her dark chocolate hair fell to the ends of her shoulder blades, part of it falling forward and covering her well-endowed chest slightly.
Her lips parted and her dark eyes turned to focus on the man as she sighed, "The smell of that thing sickens me, it also makes your kisses taste like tobacco."
The man walked over, tilting the woman's head up to him before he whispered, "Yet you still can't get enough of my kisses."
The man roughly took her lips to muffle her objections. He pushed her onto the bed, never breaking his kiss, before tracing the spots where he had only earlier claimed. The woman finally broke the kiss and pushed against the man's broad chest to object.
"Enough! I have work tomorrow and I don't want to be tired and have to explain all your marks," the woman complained.
The man clicked his tongue before sighing, "I get to be with such a beautiful, enticing woman and yet I can't indulge myself. I don't know how you've done it, but you surely must have put a spell on me my dear Akira."
Akira turned her eyes towards the window and just smiled to herself. He had a great body, but honestly Akira couldn't even remember his name anymore. It wouldn't matter anyways since he'd become another blurred face in her memory, just like the fate of the other men she had slept with. She couldn't even recall where they had met or how long they had been seeing each other for these late night affairs. Maybe it was time to find someone else to entertain her since her thirst wasn't being filled anymore by this man.
Akira fixed her hair, smoothing out her dark purple dress that clung to her shape and stopped mid-thigh. One of the thin straps on her slender shoulders kept slipping down but Akira just fixed it and continued putting on what little makeup she wanted. Her lips were now a nice shade of pink, making them look innocent of a man's touch. Her eyeliner made her eyes pop out though they generally stood out for her natural dark and full lashes. Her face seemed so innocent though from the neck down her body oozed with pheromones. Akira slipped her ankle boots on before stepping out of her apartment. Normally she'd walk the street and go in any place that'd interest her among the nightlife crowds.
"Come in and hear the band of the night!" a man called out to the passing people before handing Akira a flyer.
Her dark eyes scanned the flyer and she figured she could maybe meet one guy there at least. Akira took the flyer and walked into the shabby building with its neon sign blinking as the letters fought to stay on. Loud music blared from the speakers as mostly woman crowded the floor in front of the stage. Akira figured she wouldn't find much entertainment unless she found another woman who suited her tastes. Then Akira froze when she felt a shock run through her entire body. Her eyes searched around her before they rested on a young beautiful man. He was lean, but toned with slightly long coffee brown hair that fell into his face. Their brown eyes locked and Akira knew she was better off walking out right then and there, but she ignored that feeling and walked right over. He was leaning up against the side wall watching Akira walk over, giving her a look of wanting.
"What's your name?" he asked when Akira stopped in front of him.
Akira leaned over into his ear and answered, "Akira, now what about you?"
"They call me Taiyo on stage, but you can call me Taisuke," Taisuke introduced himself as he pushed off the wall bringing their bodies closer to each other.
The two of them stared at each other's lips as though anticipating the moment the other would try and steal a kiss. Surprising them both neither made a move closer to the other. What's wrong with this guy? Why won't he kiss me yet? Akira thought to herself before a man made his way over to the two of them.
“Taiyou you're needed on stage the live is about to start," the young man with long black hair told him.
"Of course Yuta, thank you," Taisuke thanked him before whispering into Akira's ear, "Don't disappear, stick around after the live and we can continue where we left off."
With that the two of them disappeared leaving Akira behind in the growing sea of women. Akira felt her throat burning like never before. She grabbed a drink quickly from the bar and tried to quench her thirst, but the alcohol did nothing for the burning. When all the girls started to scream Akira turned her attention to the stage and saw the band come out. They were all good looking pretty boys including the one from earlier, Yuta. The band started to play until finally Taisuke came running onto the stage with girls screaming the stage name Taiyo. He waved to the women before belting out his song, a song about being loved passionately. Akira could see from the looks on the other women's faces that they wouldn't hesitate in giving him all the love he was asking for. Akira turned her attention back to the group and met eyes with Taisuke whose stare bore holes in her very being. Akira tore her eyes away and headed for the exit to get some air since her head began to pound. She leaned against the cool stone wall of the building and took a deep breathe. She slid down the wall and put her face in her hands as she tried to calm her heart. She didn't know how long she sat there but time felt like it had slowed down around her.
"Are you alright?" a man asked her as he put a hand on her shoulder.
Akira looked up into his face and her mind began to race as her brain told her to hurry up and kiss the man before he escaped. She reached up, wrapping her arms around his neck, and parted her lips as she moved closer to him.
"I will be alright once I get a kiss..." Akira breathed out.
"That's enough," a familiar voice said, placing a hand on Akira.
Akira turned around and saw the black haired fellow from before that Taisuke had called Yuta. Akira was wondering what was going on since he was supposed to be inside playing on stage with Taisuke. Akira turned her attention back to the man and saw Taisuke standing right behind the man.
“If you know what’s good for you I suggest you leave this woman alone,” Taisuke warned the stranger.
The man quickly left the three of them alone and Akira looked at Taisuke with a glare.
“Why did you do that?! I needed him!” Akira snapped as she struggled to stand up.
Taisuke reached down, helping her stand up as he explained, “You’re in a public place, you can’t go around stealing a man’s life force whenever you feel like it. I was saving you and our butts.”
“Life force? I just wanted a kiss!” Akira retorted as she became confused by Taisuke’s words.
“Don’t play dumb, I could tell from one look at you’re a siren,” Yuta interjected.
Akira looked from Yuta to Taisuke with big eyes before asking, “Siren? You must be joking right?”
Yuta and Taisuke exchanged looks before Taisuke finally spoke, “I think you should come with us, we have some things to explain to you.”
As Taisuke tried to pull her in the right direction Akira tried to take a step but felt so drained that her legs shook with instability. Taisuke took a good look at her and could see that she was suffering terribly as her face was pale and her lips looked parched. He let out a sigh before pulling her closely to his body, leaning into her ear and whispering for her to relax. Akira wasn’t sure what was going on as she never felt so drained before in her entire life, it almost felt like she was going to die.
“Wait Taisuke what are you doing?!” Yuta demanded to know when he saw Taisuke tilt Akira’s face upward.
“She needs a drink or she won’t be able to go anywhere with us,” Taisuke explained before putting his lips to Akira’s.
Akira and Taisuke closed their eyes as Akira felt herself becoming more alive and the burning in her throat being soothed. When their lips parted Akira stared into Taisuke’s eyes and saw that he looked a bit tired and in pain. Akira was going to ask if he was ok, but she had no chance before Yuta pulled her away and dragged both her and Taisuke off.
Akira was wowed by the fancy home Yuta and Taisuke had brought her though the huge house seemed empty. She followed the boys in and saw Taisuke go over to a long white plush couch and lay down. Yuta disappeared so Akira excused herself before shyly going over and sitting on the part of the couch that wasn’t occupied by Taisuke’s body. Akira sat quietly before looking down at Taisuke and seeing that he was panting slightly and had his eyes squeezed shut.
“Just to let you know you have the strongest most uncontrollable kiss I’ve ever encountered. Siren blood in women really is more powerful than that in the males, it’s no wonder why they warned me to never kiss a siren woman,” Taisuke breathed out as he tried to get his breathing under control.
“I’m sorry…but I don’t know what you’re talking about at all…” Akira trailed off as she felt bad for doing whatever it was that made Taisuke look as bad as he did.
“Obviously no one told you that you have siren blood in you and not even the siren records have evidence of your birth, you’ve been hidden from the organization for so long. It’s unbelievable that you’ve been walking around this long and no one has noticed the trail you’ve left behind,” Yuta sighed as he reappeared.
“Siren blood?” Akira asked again as she had always thought sirens were a foreign folklore.
“Yes it’s been told that sirens were nothing but folklore, but in reality they were a real race of people…though I use the term people loosely. There were few of them and they tried to keep their race alive by integrating their genes into normal human offspring. They somehow blurred their bloodlines with ours and died off without seeing any of their siren traits in the children they produced with human partners. Of course that was before technology and so they weren’t able to know that their genes were just masked traits that didn’t get triggered in many of their children until they hit puberty, but even then their symptoms of being a siren were just seen as an incurable disease that eventually killed off the supposed infected teens because they didn’t know that they needed to drink life force to survive,” Yuta explained as he set up a tray of drink on the coffee table before Akira.
“If they died off then how do I have siren blood?” Akira asked.
Taisuke pushed himself to sit up against the couch before explaining further, “Not all of the teens perished. Some were able to survive some way or another to adulthood and made more offspring and spread the siren gene around. This incurable disease was studied by scientists and eventually the government figured out what had happened and they got smart. They created a record of the people who displayed the active siren gene and secretly experimented on them to get as much information as they could. Then one of the first siren experiments, known as Lera and some of her fellow experiments, figured out what they were and rebelled against the government, establishing their own underground society of Sirens. All over the world Lera and the first leaders of the Sirens collected data on people who had their same symptoms and recorded their names for the Siren Birth Book. After decades of secrets and dealings, the government and Sirens established that the Siren leaders would keep track of their own and the government would leave them be so long as the Sirens’ doings were kept unseen from the public eye.”
“Taisuke as well as myself as listed in the book of Sirens as we possess the siren gene. I was born from a normal human mother and a siren father so my siren blood is only half. Taisuke on the other hand had the rare pairing of a siren mother and a siren father and so his siren blood runs strong in his veins. It’s so strong that when he sings he can get life force of someone nearby to him, he doesn’t need to physically touch them like I would have to. From our earlier observation it seems you like to kiss your partner to quench your thirst right?” Yuta further explained before asking Akira a question.
“Whenever I got that burning in my throat I would usually feel better once I kissed someone so I was used to kissing men whenever I felt this burning. So all this time I’ve been sucking men of their life force?” Akira tried to explain before she realized what she had done.
“Yes, it’s true. When you and I kissed earlier you sucked me of my life force with a force that makes me surprised that no one has died from one of your kisses. It’s actually quite surprising to kiss a female siren like yourself, you see, female sirens are hardly born since they only develop if both their parents we carrying the siren gene. Unfortunately in my case I was born a male, showing how hard it is even for a pure siren pair to give birth to a girl. I’m very curious as to who your parents are,” Taisuke answered her before looking her over again.
“Well we’ll have to report her to the higher ups. Maybe your mother, who is vice-leader can, ask her leadership about a full investigation for this situation,” Yuta suggested as he took a seat on the other side of Taisuke.
“Vice-leader of what?” Akira asked.
Taisuke turned to her and smiled shyly before going in depth, “My mother is kind of like second in line of succession. You can think of the Leader as the queen of all the sirens, my mother would be the succeeding princess and as her son I’m like the prince who will most likely be the mate for the Leader’s own daughter unless her current pregnancy results in another son. Even my own mother is pregnant, it’s kind of a race right now to see who can produce a girl to become the ruling Queen. Although if my mother can have a daughter she’ll be Queen and my little sister will be leader when she’s old enough.”
“Wow…so the sirens are ruled by the females? What will happen to me since I’m one of the few female sirens?” Akira questioned further.
“I’m not really sure honestly, but for now keep a low profile and don’t run off. We’ll keep in touch with you about this,” Taisuke instructed her before pulling out his phone, “We’ll exchange numbers so you can call me and I can call you when we know what our next step is.”
Akira nodded her head before exchanging numbers with him. Akira’s heart was racing as she tried to process everything she had been told though it all seemed so surreal. Once they were done exchanging contacts Yuta escorted her to the door as Akira had to leave and be ready for work the next day. She bid them goodnight before hurrying off into the night back to her apartment. Yuta closed the front door and walked back to the living room to clean up the cups from their guest.
“Tai, do you think your mother will use her to get the position of Leader?” Yuta asked hesitantly.
“I’m not sure, but one thing is for sure…I’m not going to let her get away now that she knows what she really is…” Taisuke answered before getting up and walking to the stairs.
He paused at the bottom, bringing up two long slender fingers to his lips as he recalled the sensation he felt when he kissed her. Then he couldn’t help but smirk at himself as wondered when was the last time he ever felt this excited over a woman. She will make this so much fun he thought to himself before heading upstairs to his room.
Let me know what you think!! Look forward to the next chapter!
