Butterfly: Chapter 6 Father
Hereis the next chapter. I did this in like an hour or so but hopefully its still good lol i was just in a writing mood after watching Inuyasha! Ayways enjoy!
“What do you mean she’s different from you all?” Jun asked.
“Akira’s father actually stayed in her life more than any of ours. He watched over growing up until she hit puberty. Then on her 13th birthday her father sealed away her vampire powers because he feared that someone would smell that she was a Halfling and would attack her. After he sealed her he left their family and disappeared from their lives for forever,” Rin explained before letting out a sigh and continuing, “But Akira was bitter about her father leaving and started to try and tap into her vampire side when she around 16. She actually tried so hard that the seal on her was actually fading and with each year since then the seal gets weaker and weaker.”
“A seal? Just to hide her vampire side?” Ohno was confused.
Why would he feel that he needed to hide his daughter from other vampires? Why did he feel like he had to stop her from being a vampire at all costs to even go so far as using a powerful seal on her at such a young age? Ohno thought to himself as he tried to figure it all out.
“We don’t have time for this! We need to go stop her before she hurts anyone!” Jun growled as he started to transform into his vampire self, “Rin, go tell the other to wait here in case she comes back! Ohno and I will search the city for her!”
Ohno nodded his head as his eyes started to glow. Then the two of them leaped into the air and headed off in the direction of her smell. Rin ran back inside to the others and saw Noriko and Sho goofing around about something. Yori noticed the look on Rin’s face and got up to go over to her friend.
“Is everything alright Rin-chan?” Yori asked.
“No, Akira’s vampire side has surfaced again and she took off for blood. Ohno and Jun have gone to find her and they asked us to stay and keep a look out for her in case she returns…Akira…she looked so frightening…I’ve never seen herself lose so much control over herself…” Rin explained before feeling her stomach turn as she recalled Akira from earlier.
“Eh~! Akira is going beserk?!” Noriko pretended to be frightened as she clung to Sho immediately.
Sho looked down at her and smiled, “It’s alright Noriko-chan, I’m here to protect you all.”
Noriko smiled back at him as she answered, “I feel so safe knowing that…”
“That’s right Nori-chan! I’m here too so no need to worry!” Aiba said confidently as he slung his arms over her and Sho, getting between them slightly.
Noriko couldn’t help but laugh at how silly Aiba was, but Sho on the other hand shot Aiba a nasty look for interrupting their good atmosphere.

The drunkard was swaying as he walked down the street to his home. He was in a good mood especially when he saw a beautiful figure leaning up against a lamppost several feet away. When he got closer he saw that she was a complete beauty with a captivating face and model-like body.
“Hey girl, what are you doing out here alone?” the man tried to sound as sober and nice as he could as he got closer to her.
She smiled at him before answering in a silky voice, “I got lost, I was hoping I could find someone who could help me out.”
“Oh really? How about you come back to my place and I can give you better directions to wherever you need to go,” the man suggested with a sly smile.
She leaned in close to him with her own sly smile, “Do you live alone? I don’t mind going back to your place so long as there are no interruptions~”
“Don’t worry, we can be alone there,” he answered her before reaching out and stroking her waist.
She reached out and ran her fingers up his arm and shoulder. The drunkard was smiling as he thought maybe he was going to get lucky tonight, or if it was a dream then hopefully he was passed out somewhere nice. He pulled her close, running his hands up and down her body, checking out all her curves and wishing they could hurry up and go back to his place. He felt her lean on him, feeling her warm breath against his ear which sent shivers throughout his body.
“Relax~ I’ll make you feel so good later~” she whispered seductively in his ear.
“Stop right there Akira!” Ohno called out as he and Jun arrived to see them together.
Akira frowned before turning around to see the duo standing in the street several feet away. The drunkard looked behind her and saw the two unfamiliar men and was wondering who they were to her.
Akira pushed the drunkard away as she smiled at them, “You’re just like my father, you’re no fun with keeping me away from the boys~!”
Jun frowned at her joking and snapped, “Don’t blame us cause you have daddy issues for him leaving you and your mom!”
Akira glared at the two of them, a glare that actually made the duo freeze, before she snapped, “Don’t you dare mention that bastard to me again! He tried to seal away my powers! But that fool didn’t understand just how powerful I really am!”
Akira pulled at her shirt, tearing it to reveal the faded tattoo on her shoulder. Jun and Ohno’s eyes grew wide when they saw it, looking at each other before looking back at Akira. Is this the woman that King Ninomiya wanted us to find? This psycho bitch?! Jun thought to himself as he felt Akira’s anger fueling her powers further before she took a few steps towards them with her teeth bared.

Nino was walking around the library, pulling out old looking books to hold. He let out a sigh as he walked past a portrait on the wall. The woman in the picture was his mother with his younger self right by her side. He lowered his eyes at the picture before heading off out of the library and down a few halls before reaching a guarded door. The guards unlocked the door and quickly got out of the way of their King. Nino walked past them quickly, descending down the stairs and into the holding area. A guard saw him coming and got up to accompany his highness down the rows of cells.
When Nino reached the one he wanted he opened the book to a certain page and tossed it in at the old man in the cell, “This is the spell you used on her correct? You wanted to hide her from me, but I’ve already found her!”
The old man turned his hard gaze on the picture of the butterfly tattoo and then up at the face of the young king. He smirked at him before pushing the book right back out of the cell.
“You don’t know anything my son. Well, I really shouldn’t call you my son; you were born a bastard after all thanks to that loose mother of yours. I couldn’t trust her so I wonder why I trusted you. It really is my own fault for you overthrowing me and then tossing me into this cell to rot,” the old man chuckled in his husky voice.
Nino glared at him before hissing, “Obviously you didn’t learn with my mother, you should have killed me when you had the chance, now it’s too late. Watch me, father, as my men find your daughter and return her to the vampire world. I will make her my queen and break her like you did to my mother’s heart when you laid with that human!”
The old man saw the malice in the boy’s eyes, letting out a sigh before speaking up again, “You will not succeed. Even if you think you can you are surely wrong my dear boy. The darkness in your heart will be your downfall…”
Nino lowered his eyes at him before simply saying, “Shut up you old fool.”
Nino then turned and stormed off back out of the holding area. He quickly went to his room and paced around before angrily tossing things and breaking them against the wall. He then went over to his dresser and pulled out a small music box. When he opened it up and the music started to play he instantly felt himself calm down.
“Okaa-san…watch me as I get back at the man who broke your heart. I promise you I won’t let you down…” Nino whispered to himself before running a hand through his soft dark hair.
He went over to his window and looked outside at the dark cloudy sky. If they don’t hurry up, I’ll go down there myself to find that girl! Nino thought to himself as he slammed his fist against the window…
