Reflection in Your Glass: Chapter 3 Don't say goodbye...

Akira answered, “It none of your business really Aiba-kun.”

“Eh~ you’re pretty sneaky you know. Before we went out I knew you had the hots for our Ohno-senpai, but then he went and got with Mizumi-chan,” Aiba rambled on as he couldn’t help himself.

“Yeah, but after I gave up on him I realized there was a better guy around me, although right now I feel like he’s become really childish despite his looks!” Akira snapped at him as she got up and placed her drink on the coffee table, “Maybe you should go now.”

Aiba let out a sigh as he put his drink on the coffee table before getting up and apologizing, “Look, I’m sorry for what I said. It really is none of my business who’s in your life now that we’re over. I’ll call you some other time then.”

Akira crossed her arms across her chest as she led Aiba to the door. As he slipped his shoes on she watched him and couldn’t help but feel bad. It was almost the same feeling she had those years ago when they had broken up.

The two of them were standing several feet apart, silence setting in after they had gotten done yelling at each other. Akira’s eyes were wet with tears as she tried to wipe them away as they fell down her cheeks.

“So that’s it…we’re done? You’re just going to leave me because I won’t marry you?” Akira asked him before her eyes looked down at the box in his hand.

“Akira Miyazawa, if you don’t say you’ll marry me then I can’t be with you any longer. I love you and we’ve been together since we we’re kids, and we’ve been dating for almost 4 years now, why won’t you marry me?” Aiba asked her as he clutched the ring box tightly in his hand.

“That’s just it! We’re barely in our twenties, I’m not ready to get married and swear my life to you. I’m sorry Masaki, why do we have to get married?” Akira tried to explain herself.

“I want to know we’ll be together in the long run, but I guess you don’t want to be tied down like any other girl wishes for. I always knew you were different from other girls, but who knew you’d refuse to marry me…I’m done Akira,” Aiba sighed before walking towards the front door.

Akira watched him leave, following him to the door before she asked, “Where are you going?”

“I’m going to my sister’s place. I’ll be back to get my stuff…” Aiba turned around to look at her once last time before walking out the door.

Akira unconsciously ran up to Aiba’s back as he was about to leave. Aiba was taken by surprise as he felt her against him, but turned around and held her shoulders.

He leaned down and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Don’t leave Masaki…” Akira turned her eyes up, the tears beginning to form in her eyes, “Don’t leave me again!”

Akira was about to say more, but she was cut off when Aiba roughly kissed her to silence her. Aiba wrapped his arms around her waist while Akira brought her arms around his neck, the two of them going at each other’s lips while they pressed their bodies to each other’s. Then the frantic need for each other set in as Aiba picked her up, allowing Akira to wrap her legs around his person while he carried her to the bedroom. Akira broke their kiss as she kissed down his neck and snuck her hands under his shirt. Aiba groaned into her hair as he felt those familiar fingers against his skin again.

The two of them toppled onto Akira’s bed and soon their hands searched for ways to quickly undress the other. Aiba slid Akira’s pajama shorts down while he felt her quick hands undo his jeans and slip in to massage his growing member. Aiba lifted the loose shirt Akira was wearing up to reveal her lacy bra, one that he knew already. He smiled to himself before Akira pushed him over so she was on top of him.

“Hold on,” She told him with a smile on her face.

She lifted her shirt up and tossed it onto the floor before reaching behind her and unhooking her bra, letting it fall down. Aiba smiled big as she crawled between his legs, her seductive form turning Aiba on more as he felt the same excitement he felt the first time he saw her naked on their prom night.

The two of them went at it for the rest of the entire night, tiring themselves to the point of finally passing out in each other’s arms. When Akira finally awoke her head was throbbing and she was alone in her messed up bed. She looked around before getting up, tossing her loose shirt on before walking out into the living room to see if Aiba was still around. The house was empty except for Kome who was meowing at her feet to remind her to feed him.

“Where did he go? That wasn’t all just a dream was it?” Akira mumbled to herself before she walked back to her bedroom.

She found her phone and saw that he had sent her a text. He had left early since he had business today, but he would call her later. Akira felt a sinking feeling in her stomach as she worried what was going to happen now.

“Ok, we were both pretty tipsy last night and I let my emotions get the better of me…oh shit I have no clue how to get out of this one…” Akira groaned before she threw herself on her bed before pulling the phone out and pushing speed dial.

“Moshi mosh?” the familiar voice on the other line asked.

“Don’t talk so loud Jun-nii,” Akira groaned some more as she felt her head throb.

“You know I thought as hostess that you didn’t get hangover anymore,” Jun chuckled on the other side.

“Shut up, I was drinking at home and that stupid bartender gave me some pretty strong drinks…maybe he tried to get me drunk!” Akira sat up quickly as the thought came to her.

“What bartender? You aren’t still drunk are you?” Jun asked as the sounds of pots and pans was heard in the background.

“Are you at work?” Akira asked.

“I’m just checking up on things at the restaurant, but I was about to leave. Now answer my questions, you didn’t bring a bartender home did you?” Jun explained.

“Oh, business going good for y’all? I’ll have to stop by sometime so I can see Rin-chan and my little niece,” Akira asked as she got distracted from the questions.

“Woman, if you don’t answer me I won’t let you take one step into my house,” Jun warned her in his brotherly tone.

“I met someone…I ran into Masaki, he’s a bartender…and he came over to my place to catch up with me and we had some drinks…and we fucked,” Akira reluctantly explained.

“Okay, first thing, I don’t want to know about your sex life, and secondly, you met with Aiba?” Jun rubbed his temples as he tried to take it all in.

“Yeah, I wanted to have nothing to do with him, but he was so persistent so I gave in. But then he was being so childish with me and when I tried to get him to leave, I don’t know what came over me, but I couldn’t let him leave…” Akira tried to explain.

She felt her heart aching to see him again, but she knew it wasn’t right. She was scared he would want to get back with her, but she just couldn’t do that right now.

Jun let out a sigh when he heard her sniffles on the other end before telling her, “Come on over to the house, I’ll make you something for your hangover.”

Aiba was sitting on the bench, looking up at the sky before looking beside him. Nino was sitting next him, a smile on his face that said that he knew something and was curious to find out more.

“Nani?” Aiba asked.

“So…did you go to her place last night?” Nino asked as he stretched his arm around Aiba’s shoulder.

“I know I told you last night at the bar that I was going to call her…and yes, I did go to her place last night,” Aiba started to blush slightly as he tried to play cool.

“Did you stay the night after you had drinks and played around like horny teens?” Nino teased him.

Aiba looked away before answering, “We did have some drinks…”

Nino’s eyes got big as he took in what Aiba was saying. He chuckled as he retained his composure and added, “I didn’t know Akira was so easy when she’s drunk.”

Aiba leaned to put his elbows on his knees, his fingers interlaced, and his face resting against his hands. His gaze was somewhere else and Nino knew he was thinking seriously about something. He wasn’t sure, but he was hoping he wasn’t thinking about Akira. I can’t believe she slept with him…is she really not over him? What about Ohno-kun? He can’t find out about this…I can only hope Aiba and Akira keep this as a one night stand…for everyone’s sake Nino thought to himself before looking up into the cloudy sky.

“A storm is coming…” Nino sighed.

Aiba turned his gaze upward to the clouds and nodded his head, “I think so too…it’s about time the rain came in…”

Nino looked at Aiba from the corner of his eye as he thought You have no idea…

What did you think? XD
