YOU warm my heart.
Oh gosh, I just got this email from my little cousin and it really made my heart smile: You are the best cousin I've ever had bigme, love Emily. It's weird, but that is so small and stuff but it just made me so happy because she is so adorable and aw I love her. This weekend has been so great, I have had an absolute blast. Well on Friday I rode the bus home with Scott, Chelsea, and Mckenzie again and then I went home and got ready for my game and stuff. So I was about to leave and someone called my cell phone, and I didn't recognize the number. Well I answered it and it was Kenneth. He called me and apologized and said he wanted to talk and stuff, so that made me smile. It made up for a lot of the stuff he's done. So yeah I went to my game vs. Thomas Jefferson and it was weird because like during warm ups I didnt miss a shot and stuff and so then I got in the game and just couldn't hit anything and I was so frustrated with myself. So my coach didn't play me very much because he said I was "getting down on myself and my head was gone." So I was just in such a horrible mood after the game because like my mind just ruined everything and I've gotten this dumb mental thing lately when it comes to basketball. But anyways, I had to stay for all three games so I just sat there and watched the jv game, then Christine came over and we hung out together and we had a really good time talking to each other. She's so much fun. Oh and Kelley got to play varsity so that was awesome! I was so happy for her and she made two free throws! So yeah after the game I went over to Tay's, where we watched What Lies Beneath. Everyone was like freaking out, but I came in the middle of it and had no idea what was going on so I didn't think it was scary at all. I actually just put my hood on and fell asleep. Then Scott woke me up when he came over and layed on me. So after that we played poker, or more like attempted to play poker. We actually more like just threw the poker chips around at each other. We also played twister, which Cada and I were the champions of. And then we tried to play truth or dare, but that didn't really work out. So we just sort of hung out and talked. It was me, Tay, Cada, Chelsea, Scott, Bekah, and Kenneth. I went home at like 12 and went to bed.
I got up on Saturday and played some basketball and cleaned my room and stuff. Then I was going to try to figure out my plans for the evening, when Jack texted me and so I decided to go down to the Air Force games with some of the kids from church. Well, really just a bunch of guys. It was like me, Paige, Mamie, and Jenna and fifteen boys. But then Paige, Mamie, and Jenna left so it was just me and all of them. But, it was so much fun. We left at like 2:30 and Scott and I had a great time in the car just talking and breaking our feet off haha with the seats. So we went to the basketball game first and AFA was played New Mexico and that was such a good game. They were ahead most of the game and then all of a sudden at the end New Mexico caught up and so they were tied with like thirty seconds left in the game and then Air Force pulled it out. But, man was it intense. I sat by Scotty and Ben Walker and so that was fun. So we went outside in the freezing cold after. Let me tell you, I was about to die. Then we went back inside and to the hockey arena and got seats on the glass. So then Jack, Scott, and I went and got dinner. Scott and I got little pizzas, and Jack got like 905830847 hot dogs. Well actually, only three, but he insisted on telling us every second how much money we were wasting when we could get "six one dollar hot dogs" for that much. We also got dippin dots, which were so good. I forgot how much fun those things are-- I got banana split ones. The game was awesome, too! They played Army and it was so intense. I was sitting with Scott, Jack, Adam, Mark, Ben, and Will and we were right on the glass too so they kept checking right in front of us and stuff and so that was really cool. The game was tied at 1-1 for a majority of the game, and then with like a minute left in the game, AFA scored. It was so cool! And then right as the buzzer went off at the end of the game, two fights broke out and then another one did so there were just like people fighting all over the place and it went on for like two minutes and it was so cool. One of the Army guys was ripping off an Air Force guy's jersey and stuff and wow it was cool. Hahaha and then they held hands in a circle and sang some military song. It was quite interesting. But I had so much fun down there with all of them. Those guys are so much fun! Jack, Scott and I had so much fun with each other just goofing around and playing hide and seek in the stands and stuff. I love those guys, they're seriously someof my best friends! It was so good to get to spend the whole day with them. I almost got hit by a car on the way to our car, so I felt so stupid. The car ride home was fun too, we listened to Straylight Run! Adam was on his little sugar high though and was going crazy. Wow, that kid. But we just talked and sang and goofed around and Mark said he's going to prove to me that he can braid my hair sometime. And then they started talking about "babes" and Jennifer Garner I was like..yeah these are guys. But overall, it was a wonderful day/night. Much better than I intended it to be.
Today has been good. I got up at 7:45 for church. And church was great. So yeah I napped this afternoon <3 and just have been relaxing and reading and doing homework. Tonight I am most definitely going to watch Spiderman 2 with Benny. No school tomorrow, yay. Wow I really didn't intend to write that much. Sorry for wasting five minutes of your life for you reading this. I love life & my friends.
