Bwah. I love you. Now you've made me all maudlin. Okay, I take the previous comment back. I don't love you anymore. *coughNOTcough*
But yes, the fic was brilliant, right from the start of the dialogue where you're not really sure what's going on until the last part and this - It was no good to fight, he realized, his whole it never had been. He’d never known how. And he never would learn. - part? It's like you've really taken note of Zack's character, and the whole thing was heart-wrenching and sad and also, this part ' the fierce hum-thud-slam of his furious heartbeat thrumming ceaselessly in his ears.' I really loved too.
...forgotten like a distant childhood memory. He wondered if Freddy would fade into that, too, a flavor of something wonderfully forbidden, long lost.
Gah. It's just, gah. People live for those kind of lines, you know?
my god, girl. you're piling on the praise here. you do realize ju'll have to deal with serious big-headedness for a long time, now? ;) and oy! people need to stop telling me to write school of rock slash! they're younger than i am! (okay, so's harry potter, but that's different!) i feel pedophilic.
thanks for reading, though. and your feedback is lovely. *wants to cuddle your comment to bed* the kind of feedback that writers live for -- you should know. ;)
You just don't understand how much you have made my day. I've been looking for Freddy/Zack slash for FOREVER and I was so utterly happy when I found your fic.
It was so eloquent and beautiful and sad. You certainly have a way with words my dear. I could SEE the entire scene playing out before me.
