I apologize to all my loyal fans. The main problem I have had, has been the lack of any means to properly convey all the emotions and events that have conspired since I graduated. The last week of school was breeze. I invented the book Zombie Holocaust for my book report, marching practice was dumb, etc. Graduation and especially project grad were awesome, mostly because of the Cheesegrater. I'm so glad we wrote our class song and, for the most part, everyone loved it. Our performance at Project Grad was great and our latter performances at various parties have been spectacular. Besides that, graduation for me was just an amazing time. I hardly felt that I will miss everyone and everything. I had my doubts, but this summer and the future have me too excited. And I will keep in touch with people. Since I have been free, my life kicked into overdrive, with friends and work and the band. I can't believe all that I have been doing. I'm starting to live a life like I've always wanted. Its not nearly perfect and I definitely feel like some of it is sureal and will vanish in a month or so, but I'm gonna just go with it. Its amazing that I'm still getting to know people even better, and I think everyone in my class is becoming just as happy, and more mature because they are moving on. Its an awesome place to be in. Also, I was energized by my cousin and Bop and Connie staying with us for so long (end of May to about a week ago). My family is so great and despite a few bad influences, I admire all of them alot. Regardless of any of that, the best part of my life right now is the Cheese Grater Experience. The comradery and fun we have while making music that actually sounds...good..is phenomenal. These guys (and girl) have always been my great friends and I'm so glad its working out. I really hope it can continue next summer and that we all make sacrifices for that to happen. Being in a band is the coolest experience ever. Every bit of it is a cliche, from little arguments, to rehearsal schedules, to trying to get gigs, but its all so fun. If all goes well, our big summer show will rock Portland. I also just got back from my two day UMaine orientation and let me just say, I am so freakin' pumped for college. The small, semi-realistic taste of it I had last night was great. I'm ready to own at college. And...last but not least on the long overdue check-in, my obsession with rap is back in full swing and hopefully will be until the Rock The Bells festival with Rage and Wu-Tang. I discovered more of the CDs my cousin sent me, mainly the GZA "Liquid Swords." In addition I have started to really get into Mos Def and cant's get enough of his style. I can appreciate very little more than I can appreciate a clever, socially-conscious rap song, spit crisp and smooth like true poetry over the perfect beat. Shit...Anyway, thats it for now, and with summer here I will try and keep this up better. Cya
