Prom

So it's all over, but I had an awesome time. All the visions of grandeur I was having about it being some fairy-tale prom where all my dreams came true was far off and I couldn't be happier. There was very little typical or ordinary about it. Pictures in the park were fun just cuz everyone was dressin' to impress. Then me and Emily rode in on scooters which was the best idea ever. I was so pumped. The dinner was great and everyone at the dance was having such a good time. Everyone had clearly put effort into that evening and the atmospehere was awesome. The DJ was so cool despite the impression everyone had of him. So he sang along with Creed songs, more power to him. I danced for like 4 straight hours and there was never a dull moment. The adventure I had after prom was just that. The best part being that, even after all the stressing and planning, I ended up with an awesomely random group of kids and we all had so much fun. Claire and I dubbed us the Masters of the Universe and I believe that name is very fitting. It just goes to show me once again, the best experiences are completely outta nowhere. The only negative effect it had was that it got me thinking about opportunities I have could have missed with out even realizing it in high school, and now its going away. I'm just glad that I'm finally at a place where I am almost living for the moment, making my life what I want it to be. If I can continue that for the whole summer and in college, things are looking up. So, official report of Prom:  A+.
